I have low testosterone - what do?

hey guys im 21yo, male. 1.92m and 72kg

I started working out in august and since then im eating 4000calories a day yet my weight barely changed at all. So i was thinking about starting steroids ( i know its retarded at this point but keep reading)

i read that thread on this forums how to prepare and stuff and out of interest i went and took a full blood test at my doctor. the result came back saying that my current testosterone levels are 12nmol/l. googling tells me that the average male has a test level going from 12 - 35 nmol/l but i guess thats also including males 40+ and i believe im supposed to be higher with 21. i have an appointment with my urologist in a few weeks to check again and see what can be done.

meanwhile i checked for low test signs on google and except for erectile dysfunction they all more or less apply to me.

now im wondering how i should go about this

Can you post your bloodwork, including free test, LH and FSH?

Do you take (or taken) drugs and alcohol?

This should be moved to the Low test forum, many other knowledgeable members can chime in.

I think you're way too young to start trt, I guess it's not impossible for someone your age to have a testosterone and to need it. But I think you should be looking at the cause of the low T versus just fixing the t portion, yours should still be at its peak and. there might be some other underlying issue hopefully your doctor will look into that as well.

I dont think trt is even an option in my country. Id have to do shit myself :/ just wondering what could be the cause? Is it possible that its simply genetics because i dont really feeö like theres something wrong with me other than that.

I reccomend edging to the point of no return then relaxing and repeating. My balls dropped again and my erections are hard and I actually ejaculate liquid again lol. Before my EQ was low and I my penis was trying to pull stuff from empty testicles... Can you imagine that? It friggin' hurt. After edging like 10-20 times per maturbation session, which just fits into my day, i'm producing test whilst cycling.

A friend of mine whom claims to have done p0rn said(I don't know), said everytime you do that your body makes more test. And if you can somehow teach yourself to walk away after edging a few times for a few days you'll receed back into puberty levels of test. I did back in the day and quite frankly, i'm pretty sure its unhealthy considering how badly I wanted to cum. I had this loud ass thought in my head like "I HAVE TO!" and just hosed down whatever was in front of me like it was the first month I discovered p0rn and here I am now feeling free of the side effects of steroids .

It took a few days and I felt like something in my pelvis area was being yanked when I woke up in the mornings, but shortly after, say, about 4-8 days I started edging again my balls dropped back down my EQ is better(mind you iiJelq), i'm shooting loads again, and I can get into music again. Before, I was far too docile to feel to slipknot at the lowest point in my natural test production.

Anyway. Edging, and avoiding orgasms are an surefire way to raise test levels. GL m8.

I'm at a loss for words about Tony's comments. Op, you need full BW with your Urologist. A list is in the Finding A Doc Sticky thread at the top of this forum. Without it we're simply guessing.

Do you know how much 13nmol/l is in the teatosterone unit you guys use? I see people post numbers between 500 - 1500 here.

Guys using those numbers might be getting measure in a different scale. Yours is in nmol/l, most others I've seen is ng/dl.
If I'm doing it right, Your level converts 375ng/dl
Don't quote me on it though.
In my area, the labs use pmol/l, I called the lab to ask what ranges are cause my latest bloods didn't have any range. The lab told me the range is 175-700pmol/l, mine is 53pmol/l and my Endo said I'm good. Currently I'm waiting to get in to another Endo for a second opinion lol.

did they give you a reason for why its low and do you feel yourself like something is wrong and what are your plans?

    375 sounds shitty tbh

Well the Endo I saw didn't seem to give two shits about my levels, hence why I'm going to see a different one. Apparently as long as I have some test in my body she thinks I'm fine. I've requested a male Endo this time (not to be an asshole) just want to make sure I get someone that can understand the importance of getting me back to normal. It's worth a shot anyway. I'm sure there are plenty good female Endos, I won't paint them all with the same brush.

I'd go to an Endo, Uro or whoever, as long as they just don't try to fix it all with Cialis.
I don't feel like my self, I self medicated for a while felt great, jumped off & PCT'd and since November I've been trying to get things sorted out the right way. Feeling like I did before I self medicated the first time..tired, shitty, unmotivated ..
I'm giving it one more shot then I'm saying f**k it and going back to self medicate.
It's a painful process, some of the good HRT clinics around me won't treat anyone under 35, and my family Doc is scared to give me a test script because she isn't familiar enough with hormone replacement.

Do you think you could talk Her into giving you the script if she'll help find you a good doc?! Just throwing an idea out there... I'm in a very similar situation which is something I don't wish upon anyone!

    Best of luck!

I really don't know if I could. I haven't pressed her too hard yet because I live in a small town and she is my neighbor, I don't want to put her in a hard place where she does something she doesn't feel comfortable doing.
She called around to people she knew to et me into this particular Endo. It came at a reference from another Doctor, only problem was my doc and her counterparts she called don't have Low-T patients, I went to an Endo that seemingly specializes in women mostly (judging by the waiting room and reviews online and 2 books she published). 4x I went, the place was full of only women all 4 times.
My doc has been great in terms she wrote me an open script for Cialis, she listens to what I have to say and she's trying at least. The Cialis really doesn't do much but give me backaches and make my left knee swell for some stupid reason. I've been using PT-141 to increase libido so at least my wife gets the attention she deserves. But right now we are trying to find another Endo with more of a history in treating male hormone deficiencies.
If I do press her for a script, I will put it all on the table, either she can help me or I will help myself. (Self-medicate), I'll tell all about PT-141, my last run on test, everything. Hope it doesn't come to that but it may.

Do you happen to have a link where trt is explained in detail and what the pros and cons are. Like what testo is used and what medication and stuff like that? I didnt seem to find this in the pinned threads.

It took me 2 years to convince mine. I just kept giving her the published facts and finally, seven weeks ago to the day, she saw the light. Thank the Lord! I'm just beginning to feel the effects, although I was exhibiting physiological "symptoms" of elevated T levels about 3-4 weeks ago...oily skin, some acne, etc. But now the positive feelings are beginning to manifest themselves plus GREAT recovery time compared to 3 months ago. Don't give up on your Doc's...inundate them with the facts and be persistent.

There's a lot of solid info in the stickies. Read them all. I'd suggest you pick up Nelson Vergel's book, "Testosterone A Man's Guide" or Crisler's new book, "Testosterone Replacement Therapy, A Recipe for Success." These guys are two of the most respected in the business.

okay i got the appointment on the 03.06 9am
last time i got checked was in the afternoon and i read on google that its lowest on the afternoon and highest in the morning + i was working all night so i basicly was awake for like 2 days before taking the test.

im hoping that maybe those were the reasons for my low testing.

does anyone here have advice on things to do to get the best result possible?
