    FSH and LH Question

I was looking back over my bloodwork when I was first was diagnosed with Low T.

I was diagnosed with Low T in June of 2011.

The below lab work was taken in November of 2011.

It was 4 years ago so my memory is a little hazy, but back then they put me on 400mg of Test Cyp once a month.

The 1st injection was in October of 2011 I don't remember if the below values were taken before or after my 2nd injection done in November 2011.

With such a low dose would that shutdown my FSH and LH levels?

According to the labs my LH was low and FSH was normal.

Not sure why that would be?

I never had a MRI done back then. I am on proper dosage of TRT now 80mg 2xa week.

    Lab Test: Follicle Stimulating Hormone

    FOLLITROPIN 3.07 mIU/mL Final

    Adult: 1.5 - 12.4 mIU/ml

    Lab Test: Luteinizing Hormone

    LUTROPIN 1.41 mIU/mL Final

Normal result for men over 18 years of age is around 1.8 to 8.6 mIU/ml.

Yeah, it would shut down gonadotropins. But not just after one shot.

    Thanks guys!!

I agree Kel it does! I believe in cause and effect. Finding out the root cause of the problem not just throwing medicine at it.

Is there a reason why FSH falls in Normal Range and LH does not?

No. Next BW could be the opposite. Just a snapshot in time.

LH and FSH were the only labs I wanted to review again.
