Estimated Percent of T that converts to DHT

Is there a rough percentage that most of us convert T to DHT or is everyone different depending on the 5a enzyme?

Interesting, good read. So age-related differences in free E2 and free E2:T ratios were not significant after adjusting for testosterone level but E2 is 52% higher in older men but it seems to be more due to hight body fat. Thus as we always preach not to cycle with high body fat. Also would explain maybe why more guys on HRT who are older need an AI?

The average, sedentary (read fat) 55 year old male can have a higher estrogen level than a female of the same age. Nice huh.

Great info, thanks. The challenge is losing weight when you have high E2... Now you have a guy with extra fat, who needs addition T to drop weight, but he will struggle with E2. No TRT, no weight loss. TRT, but high E2 and no weight loss.

So what's the balance? How do you get back to a normal weight when your caught in that circle?
