38.5 years old, started first cycle... question

Here's my question: I'm 38.5 years old, started first cycle. I'm a month and a week into it and getting good results. I was planning on a 12 week cycle of test and deca , but considering my age, would a 16 week cycle be alright?

I have only had good athletic and sexual results and would like to get the maximum benefits before coming off. Thoughts?
