Test Cyp for TRT plus Sust 250

I have been on test cyp 100mg every week for over a year now for TRT. Looking to add a cycle of sust 250 to mix and have a few questions. I have done four cycles but that was about 6 years ago so I'm a little rusty and just want your thoughts on this. I'm currently 40 y/o, 6.1, 215, 19-20% body fat, and my last test check was this week and was 648. Very experienced on diet and workouts.

My questions are, what dosage what you recommend, how often, and how long of cycle I should go for. I have anastrozal on hand and would like to hear recommended dosage on that as well. I'm thinking .25 eod.

    Thanks ahead of time

I'd recommend using cyp or enanthate , not sust. If you run sust you really need to inject EOD.
Take a look at Austinites Successful Cycle thread and follow that. I know it's not your first cycle but it still lays it out perfectly and is a great way to go.
500 mgs cyp or enanthate and .25 eod for adex.

Thanks kelkel. So since I'm already on 100mgs of cyp a week, are you saying bring it up 400 or or add an additional 500 to that. How often would you run it, 250 twice a week? I know cyp half life is 12 days

It holds true to us on HRT also except for the PCT part.

So we don't really need to PCT is what I assume seeing as how we're on a regular dosage of test anyways?

Yup, after the cycle you go back to your regular HRT dosage. No ramping up or down, just go back to normal. That is not saying you dont need to get blood work done mid cycle and after. Blood work is always a good idea because even if someone does only hrt things eventually change.

Make sure to keep it basic still your first cycle, test only and just increase what you have to say 500mg week. Use the AI as noted and HCG .

If you are not using an AI now make sure you really dont need one by having your sensitive E2 checked before cycle. Upping your test to 500 a week you will need and AI such as Adex .25mg EOD or liquidstane 25mg every day.

I've cycled in the past but it's been about 6 years now. So here's what I'm now thinking...My body fat is actually closer to about 17%. I'm thinking about running the test cyp increase to 500 ew and running anavar with it. Thoughts? Oh, and I already have adex on standby for my cycle. If you agree with the anavar what dosage would you recommend? 100 mg's ED?

Are you sure what you have is really anavar ? A lot of it is faked with Tbol or Dbol now days and would cause a lot of water weight.

100mg is probably fine but you might want to start at 50 the first week and go up to 75 the 2nd just to see how you feel. It would be better to try to get the body fat down a little more and it probably wouldn't be hard with a few simple diet changes. Dont do any extreme diet changes, just look at what you are eating and when and make some changes. Cut out more carbs such as bead, especially white or even wheat bread. If you have to eat bread try 9 grain or more. Cut out any/all soda and most all mocha's, they are more fattening than you realize. If you need the caffeine use coffee. Black coffee gives you more energy long term without sugar and of course drink more water. When you are eating certain foods if you have a choice between fried or backed choose baked and if it's chicken go skinless.

Simple changes like that can easily get you down to 15% or lower.

Well I don't have the var in hand yet. Shopping around right now along with the cyp.

Diet is really on point lately. I don't drink soda or coffee, I just have some black tea in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon. Only breads I eat are 9 grain and whole wheat tortillas with breakfast every morning.

My biggest problem with shedding weight is my inability to do certain cardios because I've had 6 leg surgeries total, 3 being in the past 2 years so I'm semi-limited on that but do my best to make up for it. Gaining wise, my biggest problem areas are my arms. Strong as hell but just can't get them to keep size on them.

I hear you, Ive had 2 back surgeries, shoulder surgery and various others over the years. Diet sound pretty good.

Yeah cardio can be a bitch. Try more thinks like bike since it's easy on the knees. Anything to get the heart rate up for 20+ minutes at a time is good. it doesnt have to be hard or heavy. You can gain size using lighter weight still just push to failure. There have been studies that show you dont gain more size doing 10 reps than 30 or 40 as long as you go to failure.

Especially due to your injuries dont go heavy even when you feel the strength kick in so you dont do more damage.

For your arms make sure you change things up. If you typically use straight bar for bench change to dumbbells or machine. Switch it up ever 60 - 90 days. Focus on form over weight. Slow down. Check out some of the different routines in the sticky notes in the training section. There is some good advice over there.

I'm slowly learning I can use the elliptical because thats very low impact and the injuries are to my ankle. Been gradually bumping it up more and more. I try to do some before every weight workout.

Constantly changing my workout up but will start shooting for the go to failure thing alot more. If pushing to failure, what do you recommend for number of sets? I've always just focused on the heavy lifting and not to failure. I've followed alot out of the sticky section over the years and alot has and has not worked. Trial and error!

Be careful with winny, it has a tendancy to dry out tendons. That's what I was using when I destroyed my shoulder.

If you are loosing gains that quickly are you sure your test levels are where they should be on HRT? You may also need to increase your maintenance calories?

Ya winny was a painful experience but was worth it at the time. I really don't care to use it again which is why I'm looking at var.

My test level as of last week was total 648. Waiting on the results of the free and bio to come in. The VA has to send off for those so it takes a bit longer.

Maintenance calories are right where they should be.

But if you want to maintain more size you have to eat more.

See this is where I'm losing my freaking mind. 6 full meals a day. Good clean meals, high protein, balance of fats, and low carbs. BUT, my problem is not overall body fat, it's that belly that drives me crazy. Feel bloated so much and it makes me NOT want to eat. I take a good plant enzyme with every meal to help reduce that and assist in digesting the heavy amount of solid proteins and even the whey. I feel I train abs hard but with the lack of cardio I can't get the belly down. When I wake up everyday I feel fine but by this time every night I feel like I'm a regular beer drinker and I VERY rarely drink at all and never beer. I'm talking, I have MAYBE 2 drinks a week if that.

    Look into some digestive enzymes.

"Keep the training sessions down to around 30 mins and incorporate longer rest days in-between."

"after warm up do about 2 sets per bodypart and dropset them"

With those being said, it makes me feel I'm over training.

Have you looked into food intolerances. Bloating could be caused from dairy or gluten possibly.
