Need help - test replAcement therapy
Ok, to start off, when I was 15 I got test injections to boost myself through puberty and after that, everything seemed to be going fine, only was on them for maybe 3 months...
Well when I turned roughly 18-19, I started hitting the gym religiously and noticed a little gains, but not the same as my partner , I have never been obese, so anyways. Finally went to the doctor and my testosterone level was 239, after telling the doctor the story about my past he decided to put me on trt, he advised androgel , so I went with it, really liked it , made my upper body blow up in the gym and over all felt really we'll, I noticed a little lump occurring behind nipple and got arimidex and it seemed to work. Every time it feel one coming on I usually take a pill once every 3 days for a few weeks and I'm good to go again.
We'll now I'm 25, almost 26, I ran out of androgel, and let me say my levels were staying between 450-550 total and around 150 free test, we'll since I was running out and I was moving I went to another doctor an had my documents sent over from previous dr., the new doctor recommended the shots (cheaper, safer around woman / kids etc.). Anyways I decided I would try the shots seein how majority of the people prefer them and feel better blah blah blah, we'll I talked him into giving me 1 ml every two weeks (he suggested once a month) so we did that, we'll I went and got blood drawn last week (of a shot every two weeks ,1 ml) and my lab work shows :
Free test - 99.7
Total test - 380
With that being said, I feel like shit, my dick works but I still am not as horny as I was on androgel, I feel slightly depressed, I feel tired all the time ...
Today he informed me he was going to switch me to 1ml a month and called it in at the local pharmacy!!!!!?
Ugh buddy, 2 ml a month an I'm still "low" and your lowering my dose???
So I made an appointment for next Tuesday, what tests should I ask for to see what's going on..
Anyone think those levels are a little low for being 25????
Please inform me of what I need to do, my last doc wanted me between 5-600 total.
Help please!!!!!!!

I'd suggest you find another doctor and when you do, get thoroughly tested for the cause of your hypogonadism. It's important to find out why, at your age, you have low T. And take a look at this:

FYI, Androgel raises DHT which often makes for a pretty awesome libido. Injections are not as dramatic.

Awesome. Thanks, we'll I went to a specialist about 2 years ago and he couldn't pin point the reasoning, and I couldn't afford to keep going to other specialists without being referred from my doctor.

I'm going to go to him Tuesday and explain my issues and worrys about this, hoping I can get referred to another specialist in this area, also going to try and get all the levels tested that are in the thread above. Most of the time , when I ask they generally won't because insurance won't pay.
I'm beyond pissed at the situation, but I'm gonna tell him what I think needs to be done and if he doesn't agree, or have a valid reasoning as to why, in going to remove my documents and find another doctor in the area that accepts my insurance, and willing to help me with my issues..
