    Few questions regarding my thyroid

What's up everybody this is my first post
Before I start I'll give you a few details about myself I'm a 37 year old male I weigh between 178 182 my height is 5 foot 7 long story short I'm having difficulty knocking off some weight I used to be a boxer and I knew how to lose the weight in the past but recently I'm not having same results very frustrating I do put in a lot of work cardio situps pushups I'm kind of thinking that I may have to go for some supplements,
I'm not sure what's up my thyroid if its not working which I think it isn't I've certainly put in a shitload of work trying to lose weight I know the easy way would be get blood tests done which I will in the next day or two .

    Another question
I wanted to also go on anabolic steroids to help me cut weight I'm also not sure what to use or to get, like I was saying my workouts consist of running pushups situps basic boxing training,
If I get something for my thyroid what should I take also for anabolic steroids would not like a clash between both,
I need advice it to be greatly appreciated ,
    pretty deflated
    Thanks Martin

Edit I got bloods done today which was "thyroid function test panel b"
I'm actually in Philippines I went to a lab and asked for thyroid test T3,T4,TSH is what believe they tested me for,
Had bit of a language barrier there was no doctor there at the time ,have the results on Wednesday I'll ask the doctor some questions while there , I'll post them here,
    Thanks

What's your diet like? Protein/carbs/fat breakdown and such. Is difficulty losing weight the only thing that makes you think your thyroid is out of whack?

My diet is pretty good ..I don't eat much junk maybe twice a month like burgers pizza and such I live at home so I ate my mother's food I lived by myself also I cooked for myself I actually went out of my way to keep it healthy I eat a lot of fruits daily I think my calorie was at 2200 I felt like I burnt a lot o that between running etc I feel like a lot of work burning where can't get rid of those extra pounds,
I have to add though after reading up about thyroid,
Over 10 years ago I had a traumatic injury I was in a induced coma for 3 weeks I had a tracheostomy also I received over 50% 3rd degree burns I have since then been on low dosage of Zoloft 5 milligrams daily..
I did come off the medication for 4 weeks to see could I get my weight down not a lot of luck.

Based on your workout style and fitness goals, anabolic steroids are not something I think you should consider. Thyroid problems can effect a lot of things but blood work is the only way to diagnose so let us know when you get the results. Based on your age, medication and injury history you should get a full set of blood work pulled. Check the stickies in this section to see what lab work to order. You may (or may not) have other hormones issues creeping up.

These are the results are received today as far as the graph goes seems like everything is normal but I'm not 100% sure

Your tsh levels are normal, but not ideal. More up to date ranges for thyroid rate anything above 3 a concern. Nothing to do for now, just be aware and maybe retest once a year to monitor. Overall though, your thyroid numbers are decent and not likely causing any problems right now.

Some anti-depressants can cause weight gain. If you have been on them for several years, it may take some time for your brain chemistry to adjust.

With Age metabolism slows down. You may want to add some different types of High Intensity Training to your work out. Keep the Body guessing.
