Topical Gel vs. Injections - Peak hourly T Question

I'm new here and still learning. In this post I have a few questions.

Currently my endo has me on Axi topical gel. It's my understanding that one of the reasons Dr's like the topical gel is by applying it in the morning, the application mimics your previous natural T production. So, after the morning gel application your T will boost and be higher for several hours and as hours pass, your T will decrease until the next morning application.

My first question is...by the injection method, will your T be peaked all day and taper off over a couple days? i.e. your T will be high all day?

Second question is while on gel (morning applications), is there any benefit of timing my workouts? For example, would I benefit working out in the mornings while my T is higher or would I get the same benefit from evening workouts?

by injection the peak can vary between approx 6 hrs to 36hrs, dependant upon metabolism. typically dropping away by the third day.

topical gives spike around the 2-6 hr mrk and drops away with a trough right before your next application ( obviously) again dependant upon your skin nd metabolism.

i wouldnt worry too much about timing, you rebuild at night when you sleep in any event.
Workout when you have time.

As far as pining, tell her that you are finding it too hard to apply in the morning as you rush out early and have little time to apply and wait, and its becoming a chore. just ask her straight up if whe wouldnt mind putting you onto injections twice weekly instead to suit your lifestyle.

Im surprised that you dont have Nebido across the pond yet. 1 single injection every 9-11 weeks depending on T levels.

I just read about Nebito and it looks promising. Don't think it's available here in the US yet. Wonder when it will be?

Thank you, this is helpful. So with the gel T only stays peaked for a few hours. With injections does a peaked (high levels) for a complete day or two?

Also, what about libido. Is libido better during the peak T levels throughout the day?

With injections it depends on the ester used. In Simons example he was referring to Cypionate, with a half life of around 5 days. If you injected twice weekly, you wouldnt have any real peaks/troughs. Youd have fairly stable blood levels permanently.

Your answer gets at what I was asking. Thank you. With that understood, is there any benefit of having your T stable for several days versus the peaks and valleys you get a with gels?

Thats outside my knowledge set.
Since many TRT patients are on injectables, I cant see there being any current research to suggest that not having a natural "peak" is detrimental. Im purely speculating though!

It's available in the US under the name "Aveed" although the FDA reduced the amount allowed. From 1000 mgs to 750 per injection I believe.

Nebido, not Nebito. Nebito is the new Testosterone snack from Frito-laid.

I've heard the argument that injections better mimic your natural cycle. I could see how that might make your sleep/walk cycle better but have not seen any data.
IMO injections are the only way to go especially while you establish doasge. Too many things can effect the absorbing rate including thyroid function. I went hypothroid after starting trt. If I would have been on gel I would have been continously chasing the dosage.

I read that the gel better mimics natural, diurnal rhythm. Peak in the AM and taper off during the day. Then you apply gel again in the morning and peak once more. That happens everyday.

Injections peak 24 hours after injection and steady taper off during the week. There is no daily rhythm, like it occurs naturally in eugonadal men. If you inject twice a week, it never tapers so that's definitely not natural.
