Anastrazole ad Tamoxifen - blood test on TRT
Some quick stats:
- 150mg TestEnanth split into 2x/wk injections (75mg each)
- 0.5mg down to 0.25g anastrazole 24 hours after each injection
- 20mg/day tamoxifen to try reverse existing gyno
So I just got some blood test results back. I had the test 24 hours after injection of 75mg TestEnanth. Results are as follows:
Serum Testosterone : 2408 ng/dl (ref range: 288-923)
Free Test: 710 pg/ml (ref range: 46-200)
Estradiol: 30 pg/ml (ref range: 10-44)
TSH: 0.63 (on thyroxine medication - 50mcg/day - for subclinical hypothyroidism)
Test is so high, way over reference. Is still normal for 24 hours after injection? And is there anything that anyone thinks I should be adjusting?
Is it possible that the tamoxifen has given a false reading for E2, as the assay may potentially pick it up as E2?

24 hrs after injection is when you're at peak. That said, with twice per week injections you're never that far below it.
You need to titrate down. I'd probably drop to 50 x 2 and pull BW in about 4 weeks when at trough level, just before a morning injection.
What do you mean .5 adex down to .25?
No, tamox will not read as E2.
