I've only done subQ, haven't tried IM because the subQ has been so effective. I am curious though, what is out there regarding subQ, that would be in the negative column?

There is an old Thread on this subject and with many post and statements from members that have tried both ways and the general conclusion was all people are different and that there was no definitive right or wrong way to inject . :)
I recently read an article about a dude called the Godfather of steroids (I think). He ran some experiments with test subjects. His theory was that sub q injections had a more stable delivery, meaning the test levels were plotted at certain times and the sub q looked less like a roller coaster compared to IM. I'll try to find the article and journal entries/papers. It was interesting.
So I just remembered why sub q has a "smoother" delivery. Google helped. Muscles have a greater supply of blood and distribute the injections quicker, resulting in a spike in serum level versus sub q which takes longer to distribute the injected substance.
Currently I am trying to do my first cycle exclusively sub-Q. 150mg. test c / eod - currently on day 30, no issues. Will run BW in 2 wks. to check absorption.
Dr. John Crisler is a big advocate for subcutaneous injection of Test., but this is only for convenience and it has nothing to do with efficiency. Intramuscular injection is the most preferred method of administration.

I experimented with 150mg. 2x/wk for 8 wks. in February-March. A week after returning to my regular TRT dose, my total T was at 1900, so I'm feeling confident the higher amounts are absorbing, but I'm curious what the new BW shows as well.Quote:

In fact the more I see everyone's pics here on the forum, and the more time I spend at the gym, my mind is reverting back to a disgust with my body image that I haven't experienced in about 20 years. Great info, one thing though - its not about comparing you with someone else, although it may be tempting for someone, "competition like feeling" I know the catch, but you're doing TRT not because you want to look better or compete vs somebody else, its a self-competition, its today's YOU against tomorrow's YOU, so I'd say man up, stand up, and be a man others could look up to, because at the end of the day its all about self improvement in a long run, nobody should or will judge by no means, and if somebody dares, you know what it is, its not about them, its your footprints of yesterdays against goals ahead that You set out to beat!
About photos, heck whats the difference, nobody is forced to post any, and if you fear so/doubt so - feel free not to post them at all or until you see comparable difference you're proud of, because again its your journey and your battle of You VS. You. Also, I read alphabetically only and photos I can only take for a reference so I dont mind who looks like what, if man speaks sense and genuinely shares his journey and experience, I find it first hand a very sincere and valuable thing to come by.

I certainly like the Dr. I however thought subq offered advantages in a couple depts: 1) no scar tissue hassles from long-term TRT usage via IM injection 2) aromatase benefits given the slow absorption (particularly beneficial for those sensitive to estrogen conversion and would prefer not to use or to minimize usage of AI/SERMs).Quote:

In this case, why IM administration is the most preferred method? or at least the most commonly used.
Tried the sub'q with test-e but always had long lasting lumps that where sensitive to touch and hurt like hell. Had to go back to im and was sore but that subsided within a day or 2.
Nothing special there as most folks can look in the mirror and find stuff they don't like about themselves even if others think they are perfect.Quote:

I don't like my body, and wish i could transform more quickly as the work i put in at the gym seems to be progressing slower than i would have hoped for, but not going to let that get me down. You are in better shape than most and at least you have something to work towards. If you had the perfect body then where would you have to go from there?
