TRT- how does it work with cycling
I know that I have low test (bloodwork). I need some assistance in understanding some things.
First stats
50 yo, 5'11", approx. 195 , 10-12% bf
I just started competing in bb and I would like to continue however I am not sure how TRT works into the mix.
If I cycle, will i take a TRT and test for cycle on top of this, or do i take the cycle test and when completed go to TRT levels?
What is the best way to get a US Dr. to order the bw? Do I go in and make the recommendation or is that taken negatively and someone just wanting testosterone ?
Do you still use hCG while on cycle with TRT?
Since there is no PCT while on TRT, how long between cycles? Normal time on+PCT= time off. Virtually impossible for people that compete, however try to stay as close as ppssible to that.
I assume that there is monitoring of test levels on TRT. How frequent, and how long after cycling should you wait to provide the doc with bw?
Thank you in advance.

TRT (generally) works this; you run your TRT dose, 99% of the time it's the same dose and frequency (some docs will bump you up or down a little)
The same goes for doctor prescribed AI....some docs don't prescribe an AI for some ungodly reason.
Regular blood draws are vital when on TRT so if there is a need to bump either up or down you'll know it.
After the cycle is over then you go back to simply pinning your TRT dose.....another protocol is what I did last show (per my PM to you the other day) I stopped all oils, including TRT a week before the show & resumed the TRT about a month after the show, then about another 6 weeks or so after resuming the TRT, I added in the Test & EQ that I'm currently running. This is where I let my coach do all the thinking.
It sounds strange to say but you want to almost treat the TRT & cycle as 2 completely different things, not related to each other.
I (personally) don't use HcG with TRT.
There's no exact time between cycles as everyone is different. Ultimately it comes down to listening to your body, your blood tests, and as always being smart & safe. This is another spot where I let my coach do all the thinking.
That's some basic info. As I always say, this is what works for ME and we're all different.
