Do you need the test to reflect low?

Gotcha. If it was something like TU (Nebido) you'd test before the next injection to check your trough levels are not too low.
Id think in this situation, that you'd still want a pre-injection test just to check what your "lowest" levels are on a 3.5D protocol is.
Simple math says that you're injecting more frequently than the T/2, so although it may be minimal, you are going to be steadily increasing the blood levels over time.
Your protocol looks something like this, this only shows the theoretical amount of injected testosterone in your system.
Ive modelled it over 20 weeks, and as you can see, its still slowly climbing, because you're injecting too frequently. I assumed a half life of 10 days for the TE, which again, is a "best guess" depending upon the person.
Because of this, you'll probably find your blood levels are climbing consistently, and will continue to do so forever. Albeit marginally after around 35 weeks.
You might find at this point your 'steady state' is too high.

Test E is around 10 days, depending who you ask. I think its a good average, but it does depend on the absorption rate of the individual. My graph was just a visual "guess" at how I suspect your protocol is building.
The halflife of Nebido is hotly debated, and we've covered this inside out and backwards in my TRT thread, and I think we still have no answer. I think its clear that the half life is much shorter than the injection protocol. I think that you're right, and the volume and suspension may have something to do with effecting the absorption rate. For example, I just injected 1g last week, and 4 days later my levels werent spiking like a 1g shot of TE or TP would have me.
If I recall you're trying to locate some TU, but not on prescription? Id suggest starting straight on from your current protocol. You'll need to get some regular blood tests to follow how you're peaking and troughing. As I think its evident that some of us respond very differently, with people like BiB and Marcus having excellent trough levels on even 10-14 weeks, and people like myself are back to the starting point at 8 weeks.
Granted, I had no booster shot.
My thoughts anyway brother. Happy to comment and help where I can. Just take my comments for what they are, a non-expert opinion. If you want to know more, there are a lot of studies and data linked in my TRT thread on Nebido injection protocols.
