    First post long time reader

Hello Eveyone. Long time reader but first time posting. I am 40 low t eval by the doctor. test levels were 90. At first was doing 1ml test cyp 200mg a week and did that for about 2 months. Didn't really see any changes. Saw a new doctor and changed to 3ml every 3 weeks. Have been doing this for about 4 months now. Test levels 1500 ten days post shot. Now is switching me to 2ml every 3 weeks to see how I do till November. Kinda getting some fatty tissue around chest how would I know if gyno. I am not seeing doctor till November but could go in and ask for earlier appointment. Should I ask for AI.
    thanks

You need to ask for a new doctor. One who understands hormones. 200mg per week is a high end dose and normally not needed by most guys. Two months is not enough time to wait. It can take much longer for changes to occur that you actually see and feel. Then 3ml every 3 weeks is ridiculous. Assuming it's 200 mg per ml that a 600mg shot. Think skyrocketing estrogen levels here.

Test shots should be at a minimum once per week. Arguably better every 5 days. Many split their weekly dose in half and inject twice per week. Take a look at the graph below. I post it often to get guys to understand the half life of testosterone and why injection frequency needs to be shorter, not longer.

Sure, you could have the beginning stages of gyno. Especially since your estrogen is not controlled. You need to obtain a Sensitive Estrogen Assay. NOT a standard estradiol test. Emphasize this to your doc or if in the states and the doc won't help you can probably pull it yourself at one of the self-pay on-line labs that we can guide you to if needed.

If you have any current blood work that you can post, do so.

    Welcome to the forum.

Although Kel is correct, good luck convincing your Doc to do a sensitive assay instead of standard. No doubt he/ she will not understand the difference between them more less the impact of estrogen itself. I'm curious what the basis was switching your frequency from 1 week to 3??
I would strongly encourage you to find a new physician. This dosing frequency speaks volumes of his knowledge, makes zero sense. Don't be surprised if he tells you there is no need for an A.I. Hopefully that will give you more incentive to bail on him.

Although you won't see it recommended much around this site I personally have done better on test creams rather than injections. On injections my emotions were a freakin rollercoaster. My well being is higher too.

If you can't find a doctor willing to do what kel said or try something else try a naturopath. I never found a doctor who wasn't a quack and it was the first naturopath I visited that helped me

Glad it works for you, but I certainly didn't respond to cream and I gave it the majority of a year to do so. It does have its benefits - big one being you don't need injections if that's a fear.

Downsides for me were making sure I kept the area away from my woman, and of course not raising my levels.

It's an individual choice and we all respond differently, but wanted to throw my 2 cents into factors for 1eyeguy to consider. If you can wait for results to kick in, it fits better in your lifestyle, and get the benefits Rjay got, it may be worth considering. But I felt like I personally wasted about 9 months of my life I could have been recovering.

Rjay, again, glad it helped you though. No offense intended.
