How common that a doctor will co-prescribe HCG along with T?
In another words, is it commonly accepted that the HCG will reduce Hormone replacement therapy side effects, such as reduce the size of Testicle, and decline of the amount of semen? Also, is orally active HCG available and cheap to get --- suppose doctor prescribe it?
Thanks

Oral HCG is worthless. The stomach will just chop it up into amino acids. More cutting edge Dr's will prescribe HCG. But the older more mainstream will probably not. If you try to educate them about it it may go your way.

If your doc doesn't prescribe hcg drop him and fine a new one. That's your choice though most all guys here would recommend hcg, but theres always a few that say they're fine without it. Strongly recommend it though.

Go there and I know you'll be prescribed HCG . All of the good docs do. My old doc did.

My Dr prescribed 200 mg test cyp with 50 units hcg weekly plus 1 mg anastrozole /wk what I actually do is far from what he prescribed but that is another thread... I only take HCG immediately PCT... long esters about 2 weeks after last pin... To me it doesn't make a lot of sense trying to turn my nuts on while I do things to turn them off....

Are you on TRT? I ask as that seems to be what you're saying and yet you mention pct, which is never needed once on TRT. You need to take the time to educate yourself more on the value of HCG and how it functions. Is there any other body part you'd allow to cease functioning, or do you just not care about your testicals?

Thanks for everyone.
I guess my original question has two parts:1. If the HCG is effective to prevent the side effects such as reduce size of testicle and amount of semen, specifically on the normal low dosage, long term TRT situation ? 2. Does a main stream doctor prescribe it along with T, is the practice is quite common (at least as common as they prescribe T)?
I am under TRT for more than one year (50 mg gel/day) because I was truly suffering from low T (210 ng and 150 ng, after two test doc put me in TRT). Now, I noticed my testicles are softer and smaller, when ejection almost no fluid. I will have doc appointment soon.

It all depends on the doctor. If you're with a primary care probably not they aren't trained for that. Call around to doc's in the area and ask if they will prescribe it. If I were you I'd drop the gels and try shots atleast weekly, if you don't like them go back to gels. Your health is in your hands don't leave it up to a doctor.
