My first TRT injection one hour ago.

    Well, I've started.
I did my first injection one hour ago.
The most difficult part was opening the amps (I've ordered an amp opener via ebay).
I injected into my outer thigh. Surprised by how easily it went in. I was expecting to have to push more. Ha.
No pain really. Tiny spot of blood.

    All in all, a success.

Shame it takes so long to start noticing it working. Six weeks is it?
Still not sure if I need the Anastrozole on such a small amount though. What is the downside of taking 0.5mg every other day if I don't need it? Is it better to just take it, just in case?

    -----------
    About me:
    Age: 45
    Test level on 1/5/17: 286 ng/dl
    TRT started on Wed 17/5/17
    Type: Testoviron Depot (enanthate)
    Dose: 125mg
    Frequency: Weekly
Other meds: 0.5mg Anastrozole every other day
    E2 level - Unknown
    RBC - Unknown

I am considering doing a blast and cruise once a year starting at 500mg a week for 10 weeks. Not sure yet.

I would wait for ai until you pull bloods. I never need one if taking just test. But I would split the dose into twice a week that will help alleviate the possible need for an ai as well. taking it just in case can cause as much problems as not taking it. Too low is just as bad as too high

Are you self medicating or under doctor supervision? I agree with the above statement about holding off on the AI until you are on a while and have follow up blood results. At 125mg wk you may not ever need it, but if you do start low. I'd say try .5mg the day after injection because .5 eod anastrozole is pretty high actually. For comparison, I use .25 eod when running 500mg wk blast. It's pretty potent stuff.

Hi, yeah self medicating. I decided to hold off on the AI as you said. I suspected I wouldn't need it at such low levels. I have it on standby just incase. I am injecting 75mg every three days. It's going pretty well. I actually look forward to injecting, which may seem a bit weird. I guess it's because it feels like I am doing something positive to my body.

I'm really looking forward to my first first blast in November. That will probably just be upping from 75mg to 150mg every three days for twelve weeks. Dependant on how my blood test results come back after my first 6 weeks on TRT.

Usually at 500 mg a week (250mg every 3.5 days) they say to take .25 mg Anastrozole every other day, then pull bloods and adjust accordingly if necessary.

So if anything I'd knock your dose down to .25 mg every other day or even further apart. But definitely not .5mg until you know .25 mg effectiveness, or lack there of

Yeah. For now I won't be using Anastrozole.
