Questioning TRT protocol
I am not new to this community, but when I started getting testosterone from my urologist, I was mildly surprised when he started me off at 200 mg/EOW of Testosterone Cyp. I am used to running my own gear at 200mg twice a week.
The first ten days I feel fine, but the next four days up to my injection, I feel like absolute shit. Would it help with keeping my estradiol levels lower and my test levels more even if I switched up to two shots of 50mg per week, despite against the doc's orders?

Your Uro doesn't understand the half life of testosterone. Always amazes me. He's putting you on a hormonal roller coaster. If you check in here often you have probably seen me post this little graph showing what happens after a test injection and why it's important to have more frequent injections:
Your answer is yes. By all means go with 50 mgs x 2 per week. You should feel so much better with more stable blood levels. Also if you are using any form of AI I would not do so on your new protocol untill BW shows it's needed.
Best of luck! Post up how things go on this thread please.

A year ago my doc.was giving me 200mg every month! Needless to say I just used his prescribed vials to run a real cycle after the first 2 months of quackery.

Yes on both accounts; lower E2 and more stable T. Your doctor doesn't know $%!&. Every 2 weeks is a barbaric antiquated practice. Don't do it.
Another benefit is that with 0.25 mL dosing (assuming 200 mg/mL), you can drop down to a 28G insulin syringe (25G at most).
You might need to switch back to the doc's protocol a 2-3 weeks ahead of any scheduled testing so he/she the expected numbers. If you draw labs on your protocol, the numbers might be higher than expected and he might cut you back.
