nipple sensitivity
hey guys im on 180 mg/week and i noticed a tiny bit of nipple sensitivity in the gym today. i did my weekly shot yesterday morning and i dont take an aromatase inhibitor. my last bloodwork came back at 977 ng/dl and e2 like 10 above the upper limit on close to my trough day. im not sure if this is psychosomatic or something i should actually worry about. it almost feels like a chaffing in my left nipple which could be just sweat and my t shirt. definitely no pain but i became more aware of how it feels if that makes sense. thnx!

You did you shot yesterday so your T is at it's peak in 24 hrs or so. That also means so is your E2. It doesn't mean it's an issue for you as your hormones are in flux and it's not abnormal to have nip sensitivity. All that said, you mentioned that your about 10 over scale near your trough day. So take than into consideration and imagine how much higher you probably are the day after injection? It would be informative for you to pull BW 24-48 hrs after injection sometime to see how your peak actually is as well.
It's also a good time to consider splitting to twice weekly injections. The obvious reasons are to reduce T to E turnover as well as maintain a steadier T level throughout the week without a roller coaster effect. You can also get by with less T this way and maintain similar levels. Also remember that over time our bodies change and that you may not have needed an AI since you've started TRT but it does not mean that you won't in the future. Our levels don't stay linear just because our dose doesn't change.

My first reaction is that's a lot of T for TRT. Are you doing this for TRT or for bodybuilding purposes? Advice varies depending on goal. Assuming that since you are posting in a TRT forum, this is for legitimate TRT purposes. In that case, you might want to take Kel's advice and lower the dose and split it up. I usually advise guys starting out on TRT to stick to no more than 100 mg per week in at least 2 split doses (I much prefer the every 3 day method). Then after about 6 weeks pull new labs and assess what changes need to be made. I would not start an AI or HCG until after the first set of follow up labs. You want to see where you are with the T by itself and then layer in other compounds as needed.
My other reaction is that guys tend to get overly concerned with nipple sensitivity because of bodybuilding lore. Yes, for bodybuilders who use very high doses of T and stack it on top of other agents (e.g. Tren ) that have progesterone-like activity are at high risk of gynecomastia . They then tend to crush their E levels to undetectable levels with too much AI (a little goes a very long way with TRT), and then have other side-effects like a major case of ED. Male nipples are supposed to be sensitive and nipple erections are natural. It's a sign that your T & E are in balance. Only labs can determine if your E is out of balance.
Hope that helps!
