40.5mg of androgel

I would like to give a hypothetical that is very general and would appreciate your feedback.

If a male between the ages of 35-39 with middle of the road natural test production (not very high and not very low) took 2 pumps or 40.5mg of androgel prescribed daily. Since this is relatively a modest amount of test, plus considering the absorption rate of androgel,

could doing this supplement the amount of natural testosterone production? again since such a low dose actually being received wouldn't the natural test production continue and not be inhibited, and the 2 pumps of androgel just supply a bit more test to the individual thus raising the total amount of test?

No, bad idea. ANY exogenous T will feedback negatively and decrease natural T production. More than likely, you will be worse off than before because you've thrown your entire system out of balance. With TRT, it's all or nothing.
