How to raise lvl if I can't get TRT
Hello- new to site and looking for advice on TRT or some other method of getting that strong young feeling back again. I'm 38, 5'4 about 215lbs. Past 5 years I've noticed I don't have that killer drive anymore, loss of strength, gain fat etc. I had a Testosterone test done and was told I'm normal. I asked what that means by normal because what's normal for someone else might not be normal for me. I'm still waiting on that answer. If I can't get TRT what else could I do?

Yes, I did call and leave a message with the receptionist. I will post them when I have the numbers.

From 250-1100 ng/dL I’m at 312. I get that I'm within what they say is normal but going by how I used to be and feel it can't be normal for me if that makes any sense.

your test levels are "normal" , they are just not "optimal" ,, and optimal is what you want. most doctors are NOT trained to get you into optimal health or shape, they are trained to stop the bleeding and make you normal or at least not dead.
you may need to seek out a doctor or clinic that specializes in optimal health, like a rejuvenation or anti aging clinic.

Ask for:
Free T
SHBG
LH/FSH
Cortisol and Prolactin if the doc will. Looking to find the cause of your low T. Your TSH is fine but it's a weak indicator. I don't see a need to further pursue thyroid at this time though. Any head or testical trauma in your past?
Your total T is low as expected and we need to see other items to assess why. Do not accept "your in range" from your doctor as you're not a number. Make sure you're treated based on how you feel.
When you posted your height and weight I was expecting you to be quite heavy. You're not! You look good, keep it up!
