Changing TRT docs, any legit clinics left?

Hey guys it’s been a while and everything’s going well. Been just rocking along with my protocol of 240mg/wk Test Cyp and 600iu/wk Hcg split into 3 subs injections without a need for ai. Had a perfect scenario of a local dr who would see me annually and follow my trt without any cost aside from my annual visit. This is no longer a viable option as he has now jumped on the trt money train like everyone else so I need to head a different direction as this will not be cost effective.

I was one of the original patients of the lowTnetwork and was very happy with my services, but as we all know that went to hell in a handbag once the company sold. Are there still any legit all inclusive clinics? Recommendations or suggestions appreaciated!!

I go through a low t doc ( test , hcg and AI ) rounding me at 100-150 a month but have been slowly starting to get some stuff else where and just stay with them for lab work and discussions. Would you like the name ? I can pm you bro.

You don't have to PM sources for Test-replacement because it is legal. It would be nice to have a list available for everyone. Here are some of the places I know of or use.

I actually found Royal Men’s Medical Center which is $195/per month and all inclusive like LowT used to be. Seems to be a really good option and I’m really leaning twards using them. I’ll keep this tread updated when I know more.

I wish I could find one here in Dallas. I just started a few weeks ago, went to testosterone centers of Texas. Unfortunately I have to go once a week, but lucky my insurance covers it and I just pay my copay which runs me about $140 a month. My buddy was on for 6 years with a doctor he had, got a script and just followed up every six months for blood work. His did the same as yours, started requiring weekly visits. It sucks

For those whose insurance covers it, what is your carrier and is it low-t or an upstream issue? Thanks

I use defy and it is the cheapest and dr saya and his team are very up to speed with everything there is to know.

Am I correct in assuming you need to see him in person? Florida's a long way from Michigan. We do have a Dr Crisler in Michigan who appears to be very "up to speed" on HRT but he's expensive and does not take insurance.

Take your medical records and go see a good internal medicine or endo doctor. Those TRT places are just money makers. There also also URL for test and other things that are much cheaper.

Places on Florida can be anti aging clinics. Just full out a form, get a physical a.d pay a lot for their medications. Let it stuff just expensive.

I used Total Rejuvenation in Jupiter FL for about 3 yrs. They are very good, no issues but expensive, about 250 per month for T, A.I. And HcG.
Now I just go to my Uro and he prescribes, I use GoodRx, 44 bucks for 10ml, I use ADC for HcG, basically free LOL, works out to about 20 bucks for 5000 IU's of Corian.

If it were that easy, everyone would do it. Good doctors are very hard to find, esp ones that will be understanding and be open to caring and working with you, hence why they are TRT clinics, they know it’s not something that’s easy to come by.
Maybe your state has up to date doctors and cool ones at that.

Unfortunately, our hormones are so tightly regulated by the FDA and DEA that the medical profession is hesitant about working with men who need hormone replacement through a primary care doc. They do not want to be seen by their colleagues as a pusher of illegal drugs. This is why they prefer to refer the patient to an endocrinologist, which we know are back in the stone age of TRT.


Getting on my soap box now, I actually understand their position. Really, just read the posts in this forum. How many guys here legitimately need TRT and how many are faking it to get a script for T so that they can "Blast and Cruise" for aesthetic purposes? I try not to be judgmental, if guys want to mess up their endocrine system (probably for life) by doing this, then they should be doing this through UGL sources and taking the responsibility for the long term outcome. However, it's even more complicated than that. You have the whole sports industry saying it's unfair when an athlete competes juiced up (and I agree) because it forces the non-juiced athlete to do the same or parish in the game. You have the insurance and Medicare industry saying it's unfair for everyone else to pay the price for a lifetime of treating the long term side-effects of anabolic steroid abuse. So there's no clear way out of this mess. Guys with a clear medical need for TRT are the ultimate losers in this controversy.

Off my soap box now. I think the best path forward is the one that I took. I told my doc that I was seeking treatment (after the fact) from a well respected male hormone specialist. She continued to monitor my health and conduct extra labs in parallel with my TRT doc (who cost me an arm and a leg). After about 3 years, she saw the benefits and none of the potential side-effects of a well administered TRT protocol (see my post on Best Practices in TRT: https://forums.steroid.com/hormone-r...rting-trt.html). I then convinced her to take over the protocol without any changes so that I could get the cost down to a more reasonable figure. When the insurance conversation came up, I said that I had no plans on seeking insurance coverage for the drugs because T and HCG is just not that expensive. The insurance has no problem covering the labs as part of my normal care (though I heavily supplement that with my own labs).

So I went with this company and so far so good. Everything has been really straightforward and everyone has been very easy to work with. Got my physical done same day as my annual bloods and had meds headed my way a few days later after the dr reviewed everything. Only issue was the cap of 200mg/wk since I was at 300mg/wk but I’ve lowered my dose (using 220mg assuming the vial is overfilled slightly) and seem to be doing fine.
