I've been on hCG for 6 years.

    My regiment is:

    Thurs: 250iu hCG
    Fri: 250iu hCG
    Saturday: 100mg Test Cyp

I have been on this same protocol for over 6 years and recently had an appointment with a new Endo. He looked at me like I had two heads and asked why I've been on hCG so long. He said that there aren't enough long term studies to provide if its safe or not to be on it for so long.

    My latest BW shows:

    Testo Total 503 ng/dL 250 - 1100 ng/dL
    Testo Free 76.5 pg/mL 35.0 - 155.0 pg/mL

My test levels have hovered in this area for all of these years. He proposed taking me off Test Cyp, remain on hCG for 3 weeks, retest BW and then start me on Chlomid only. What dose I am not sure of.

I'd like to get some feedback on maybe some speaking points to bring up. I am feeling a bit nervous just stopping my Test and knowing that I'm about to take a hormone dive.

Don't waste your time. Find another doctor. I'd prefer a Uro over an Endo.
Why can't you stick with your current Doc? He has you on an old school style protocol using HCG at the end of the week to boost your T when it's waning. All you need to do is split your test to 50 mgs x 2 per week and do your HCG on the same days as test. You'll be great with better and more stable levels.

I haven't seen an Endo is over 5 years. My current Doc is just fine. I was looking to try something different. The last year I've begun to just feel like crap, low libido, ed and just not feeling 100%. My BW is fine but I am not feeling fine.

With your suggestion, will that leave a dip in the week at around 3.5 days after my last injection of T and hCg ?

Yeah cause your test level of 500 sucks

I'm right there with you. I've contemplated upping my T just a tad. Maybe an additional 50mg each pin.

Total T level doesn't really matter. Focus on your free T as this is what works for you. Assuming you are pulling labs a day or so before your injection you are much higher earlier in the week. Current labs would also be a solid idea to make sure nothing else is amiss and causing your issues. It's not always testosterone that's the culprit.

There would be no dip with twice weekly injections. Exactly the opposite. Look at this chart to show T levels on a once weekly protocol:

The once weekly injections can put you on a roller coaster ride with your hormones. Twice weekly will give you much steadier levels, less estrogen and hematocrit issues as well as you'll feel better. Remember with twice weekly you will be injecting every 3.5 days or so resulting in almost no T level dip. Next blood work be sure you test your shbg as well.

    Kelkel,

I had labs drawn on Tuesday, two days after my last T pin. It will include my test and estrogen levels. I'll post when it comes in.

So to clarify, pin my T and hCG on the same day, twice a week? Would you recommend certain days?

Please do post them. Two days after your pin you'll be at or near peak levels. It's always best with blood work to stay consistent with when you draw it. Normally it's best the day of injection but before said injection. This will give you your trough levels. The days or times really don't matter. I prefer Monday and Thursday to avoid weekends.

Do you have CBC, estradiol, prolactin and thyroid values?

One change to consider would be to split the testo in 2 weekly shots, 60mg twice a week for example.

Your levels look a little low to me for only 2 days post injection. But again it's just as much about how you feel as it is about the levels. 100mg/wk puts my T & free T at the top of the scale. I have recently switched to injecting E3D instead of once a week. Haven't had a blood test yet on this new protocol but I have one coming up in July. I've read about nothing but benefits of HCG at low (250iu 2x week) HRT dosages...I would spread them out though.
