TRT and gene edits
Im making the decision to self TRT either before or after my next cycle. Various reasons why if your curious just follow my last thread.
The final step in completion is the ability to have kids in the future. If I do this will this alter my DNA/genes where my children will be effected by it? Or is it something that will only effect my life my being?
When I move back to Massachusetts I'll come forth to my PCP as she will aid me and support my decision where, where I'm at now the health care system is likely to leave me stranded

No effect at all. You're just replacing endogenous testosterone production with exogenous bio-identical testosterone. Meaning it's the exact same thing as your body would normally produce. Just be sure to use HCG as part of your protocol to maintain testicular function and spermatogenesis.

Show it to your doctor if he/she is apprehensive about HCG
