Doctor Letter for Travelling with TRT kit

    hi guys!

I will be flying to EU this summer for the first time after starting my TRT. i will be carrying a pack of insulin syr (for subQ) and a pack of Test250 inj with 3 amps x1ml (original pharma packing).

I know i need a letter from my doctor.
Unfortunately we have almost zero concept of a TRT program in our part of the world. My doctor has never written such letter. Can somebody provide me an example of the letter? and the info in letter not to be missed ?

    Thanks!!

Not really familiar with travelling internationally with TRT gear but wouldn't the prescription on the vial and syringe container be sufficient?

If you're putting it in a checked bag I don't think there will be an issue. I've done that many times internationally. And I don't bring vials. I bring the syringe already full ready to go.

Agree with JD. I've traveled several times to the EU while on TRT. I do not bring HCG because of refrigeration issues and you can get by for long periods of time without it. I bring 2 sets of Testosterone drawn up in syringes for the expected duration of the trip. One set I keep in my carry on and the other I pack. I do this just in case one or the other is lost.

Airport security does not give a rat's @$$ about insulin syringes, they see them all the time and they are not a security threat. The customs agents and drug sniffing dogs never bothered me either. They are not looking for small quantities of legal medications. I do keep a photo of the original prescribed container on my phone just in case.

I did have a letter written by my original TRT doc, but never had to use it.

I travel to Mexico every year and carry it in my carry on with no issues as long as the Rx is on the bottles. I don't suggest putting it under the plane. It gets cold. Mine gelled up once doing that

I've never had an issue with the packed T. Once it warms up when you get off the plane, it should be fine. Or at least it is for me. However, for travel to Mexico, I do not bring the second set in the luggage because I don't want any extra coming back to the USA. US custom agents are some of the least friendly in the world and since testosterone is easily available on every street corner in Mexico, I think they might be looking a little more closely for it than with flights from other countries. I simply bring one set with me in my carry on and make sure I keep it secure so that it's not lost or stolen. It's not the value of it that I'm concerned about, but rather the thought of having a TRT crash in the middle of a vacation.

My Mexico plan B in case I do lose my carryon is to obtain the needed testosterone locally and toss the extra at the end of the vacation. I've never had to do this, and I am concerned about the quality of the source, so if it ever were to happen, I'd be very careful about the purchase. I'd only purchase branded Pfizer Depo-testosterone because that's what use and know what it should look like. I'd thoroughly inspect the packaging and insert for any signs of counterfeiting. Having photos of the packaging and insert on my cell phone would be helpful in this regard.
