First week of TRT. Question about anastrozole and hcg

It's my first week of trt. I'm currently dosing 350mg of T enanthate weekly.

I've two questions for you.

1) I've planned to start taking anastrozole next week. Is it too early or is okay ?

2) According to Dr Crisler protocol I'm going to take two shots of hcG weekly. Is okay if i also start with hcG inejctions next week or it's too early ?

i'm four months into a 200mg/weekly test cyp 500iu/weekly hcg and .5 mg anastrozole DR prescribed protocol

i started all same time per DR instructions

i discontinued the AI though after two months and liked that better

just a quick side note, thanks for sharing the protocol... I've never heard this:

"I usually give 250 mg of HCG subcutaneously twice a week. There are only so many leydig cells, and therefore you can only stimulate so much testosterone production. And when you go above 500 units of HCG, you do not produce more testosterone, what you actually do is produce a lot more estrogen."

I’ll just share my anecdotes...

I did away with anastrozole and HCG years ago and have never looked back. I don’t miss either and don’t see any negative impact subjectively or objectively.

My giblets may have shrunk a tad but not to where it’s bothersome or noticeable unless they’re in your face and my estrogen levels have always been just fine.

However, I have zero plans to ever come off (if I did, then I would consider HCG).

Lastly, I hope you’re getting labs to see where that 350 is putting you. That’s far and above a “normal” TRT protocol (as Cylon pointed out). Would be curious to see where your values are and long term hematocrit

I inject 175mg test enanth on Monday and 175mg test enanth on Thursday. And, 250ui HCG on weeknesday and 250ui on Sunday.


My idea for anastrozole:

Tuesday 1 mg

wednesday 0.5 mg

friday 1 mg

sunday 0.5 mg

Then, after 4 weeks I'm going to do a blood test. And see how it works.

What do you think ?

Man, that seems a lot for TRT. Started and have stayed with 150/wk personally. Initially I was using .5 of the anastrozole 2x/wk, but then tried to break those little things into.25 little pieces as best as I could. That has been a happy amount for me. Just my 2 cents cause that’s all I know now.
