When to get bloods
Hey!
Can someone please advise.
I'm getting a blood test next week. It will be roughly 6 weeks since I finished up a cycle. Will this be enough time for my test levels to return?
Also with my TRt dosage, I inject on Tuesday/Friday. My blood is to be taken on the Thursday. Will this give an accurate reading?
Thanks!

Without knowing necessary details, might expect your levels to remain on the high side. While I would guess you'll arrive at an accurate reading, had you want to save face, may want to push back the blood test a couple weeks.

When you say "cycle" and that you are on TRT, you mean you are just coming off a blast, right? Like you were running your TRT dose, then boosted that up, maybe ran some other compounds? Do that for a bit, then drop back down to "real" TRT dose? If that's right, then that term here is "blast and cruise", not cycle. Just a heads up for clarity.
Blast or cycle, either way, the time before you get more stable bloods depends on which compounds you ran. You can use five half lives to get the time before the drugs clear your system. For example, testosterone E has a half life of something like 4 to 6 days. Multiply the larger number by 5 and you get 30 days. At the end of that 30 days, the extra E should have cleared enough for you to get a good number.
Maybe err on the side of caution and give it a few days extra, if it is important to you to get the most accurate numbers. Really, it shouldn't matter too much.

Also, the timing of the blood work relative to your previous injection is important, but that is mostly for reference. Assuming a C or E ester for your TRT and twice a week injections, you can say that your numbers will be close to but not right a trough with your current plan. Test would in fact be lower if you waited that extra day,but it wouldn't be significant. You just have to remember that you were a day from trough when you had that blood pulled.
Short version: just keep a record of when blood was pulled relative to your last injection. This way, you aren't comparing one draw that was maybe taken right after an injection to another draw that was taken at trough and freaking out because they aren't the same.

Hey.
Yeah was a blast and cruise.
I am getting a full blood test done, as when I went to the Dr my blood pressure was through the roof. The Dr said they were worried ( I can't remember the reading).
I had taken it a while back and was really high then ( I wasn't blasting at the time ). I had changed up my diet a bit and hoped for the best
I informed the Dr I was on TRT. Although I was a little creative with the Truth. I had said I was prescribed it from a clinic in the UK, rather than self medicating (I'm over in Germany now ).she was actually really open minded about it. She then said about getting my test levels checked,, this is why I wanted them to look as normal as possible.
Thanks for all the information!
