    TRT and weight loss

I've recently restarted TRT and am wondering, with all other things being equal (same diet/exercise as before TRT), can I expect to be able to lose weight and fat, along with additional muscle mass?

Increased body fat is likely a result of Low T ......Losing fat is mostly diet related.

If you say you restarted TRT then the questions are A) why did you stop B) how long were you on before you stopped C) how long did you stop?

I stopped because the original doctor shares an office with a sleep doctor and was pushing a sleep apnea machine. I gave in to that even though I don't have apnea but he would not allow me to continue the TRT without using the apnea machine for another six months minimum. I could not sleep with the damn thing at all so that's why I stopped.

Then work got really busy and I didn't begin to seek out a second opinion until recently, about a month ago. I was off it for roughly 5 months but had only been on it for 2 months to begin with, so not long at all. The new urologist is much more open to things and even increased the dosage a bit to try to get the levels more in the middle of the range.

Doctors are such pieces of shit.

Then, yes TRT shoud help with fat loss but the results will ultimately come from diet & cardio

Thanks. When would you say I'd start to feel the impact of TRT? A couple of months?

You may feel the impact, pos and neg, more immediately. But it will take about a month to get a baseline. Test will give you a little more energy and drive (Y'all don't f w/me on this) and move the body into a more anabolic state. Anabolism will help to preserve the musco-skeletal system while loosing adipose tissue while at caloric deficit through lack of calories and/or preferentially using stored energy to preserve and grow at the cost of adipose tissue (not earthshaking but over time it is profound).
If you want help, please be more specific with your questions and share your particulars to provide a foundation for us to relate to the actual important info that comes after the first two sentences which say "help me." For example, we do not like it when we have to put way more work into answering a question than the person did in asking it or in researching it. You're encouraged to ask because we like to help.
Hope this Helps!-I have no idea if I helped your particular case because there's no "meat" in it.
    Good Luck on your journey!!!

    This, one thousand times this!

Even low dose test (like 100mg per week), gets my motivation going. Like "time to get things done" mindset. It is worth it for that alone to me.

I felt a difference pretty quick (I seem to remember a week-2) likely some placebo effect.

Thanks. I'll have to put some additional thought into that. Good point regarding research- I do need to do more of that.
