Doctor is holding me off????
I am 40 I have run 2 cycle always PCT corectley, and recovered nice. I got my blood work done here are the results.
Testotrerone free 10.3 range 9-30 ng/ml
Testosterone total 448 range 240 -950
My regular doctor said all is fine. But he hands out cold meds all day to old people. The endo I wana see. First I got my med records sent then he wanted to know if i got a referral (wich i do not need with my plan). So then I call for an appointment. The nurse wants to know why I wana see him and want to know if i was refereed. I gave her all the info and se said she would give it to him he would look it over. See said they would call ME to make an apointment??????? Is this standard or are the pre qualifying me for some reason? None of the doctors know about my steroid use .

u never mention directly but i assume your looking to get on test....
well, wut the nurse told u....
it sounds pretty standard to me....endos and other specialists dont have appointments usually for a month or 2 and yes some doctors ask for referrals (i hate that myself) especially if my insurance doesnt require one....that's like me going to get my transmission fixed at aamco and the fvckin mechanic asks me for a fvckin referral by my oil change tech...fvck em all...use em and get wut you need...gotta play their game but dont gotta love em...i wanted to do a sleep study and they charge over a 1,000 bucks and DEMAND a referral....wtf? they are the sleep doctors but i gotta go to my family doctor to ask for a referral for something i know i want done and pay that muther fvcker too.....sorrry end rant
they dont need to know shiat about your prior use btw
hope this helps
welcome to ar bro

Yeah, ain't that a bitch that some motherfvcker that spent 8+ years of his/her life to learn medicine to help SICK people won't give you a script for roids, when it can cost him/her their medical license, get them put on probation, letters of reprimand, etc., because all physicians are regulated on how they dispense controlled substances?
Last I checked, when I was staying up for 30 hours in a row, admitting sick people (many without the insurance you have) to the hospital, it fit my job description. I'm a doc, and have no more access to any "supplements" than you do.
My advice is quit your whining, use the doc when you're sick, and shut the fvck up.

Yeah, you're right. You didn't mention the roids. My mistake. Knee-jerk reaction. Guess I assumed that because of the thread. At any rate, sorry that as docs we exercise the right to run a practice like any business, only with the govt telling us what we can charge and collect, and the insurance companies dictating the treatment. So if you want to be pissed at someone, try the insurance company. Not a reason in the world a doc wouldn't want to see a patient, just that if a referral is required it's due to insurance requirements. The insurance company won't pay for the visit without a referral, so your other option is to have the doc say nothing, charge you about $500 bucks for the visit, which you'd be stuck with, because your insurance company won't pay it. Then if you're lucky, it gets turned over to collections while you try to get your insurance to pay, and your credit gets ****ed up. And the kicker is, about 95% of the time, the doc doesn't even know about it, cuz you are getting stonewalled by the front office staff, who is just following procedure.
Personally, I'd see anyone that wanted to be seen, and everyone I know is the same. Funny how the public just loves to ****ing hate doctors. Had I known that sacrificing that much of my life and my sleep would get me nothing but a bunch of public hatred, hassles with insurance companies, constant fear of being sued, and endless hassles with the govt regulations, with a little time left over for seeing patients, I might have done something different.
Again, my bad for the assumption.
