test and results
Hi recently underwent a medical procedure, and may have low testostrone because of it, Im getting tested for the following things, I told the doctor that my surgeon said to test for total and free testostrone, but I dont know what he put down, and he said they would test for free test if they had the machine to. Is this test ok, or should I add in some other things?

so your gonna copy your docs handwriting? or are you going to ask him to write a new script for bloodwork?
if you are establishing your baseline hormone panel because you think you may be a candidate for hrt then it would be good to know your estradiol, lipids, liver, and psa...these are things that i reccommend and would want to know before starting taking hormones

yes..it absolutely takes a little patience to be put on steroids by mainstream doctors....anti a gi ng cl inics i believe would be a one visit one bloodwork deal and you be jabbing test and growth if can afford....however, it's best to know whats wrong before you alter your hormones ofcourse

LH and FSH levels were fine though, spoke to doctor and he said I didnt have the second sheet for the test results, LH was 9 (1-10) and FSH 9 (1-16), so he said the problem seemed local to the testosterone region, where I had the operation

Hi its me Peter2008, cant seem to log on with my username, I think I forgot my password, and cant reset it because that email address was closed down by me. Anyway I have some new information that someone mighg be able to help me with.
I have since my last update visited a endo, I told him all my symptoms and and he said that I should get another blood test before I get any HRT, I told him no, I had a real medical issue and, that this shit was taking to long, and that I didnt want to have to wait again to get an appointment with him. He said ok and said that I could get my blood tested then and he would also give me a few month prescription of testogel 50mg. I did the blood test, and today I have my results, he tested a range of things, and my Serum testosterone came back as 7.4 nmol/L (10-30) and for the Serum sex hormne binding glob (SHBG) it came back as insufficient sample, please retest.
Does that mean that the 3 bottles of blood I gave wernt enough, or that the test was so little that wasnt detectable.
Also as Iv started the testogel and I dont think Id get accurate results on my blood now, or would I?
He also wanted to see me in 3 months and told me to get my blood test again 2 weeks before the appointment. What do you think hes trying to do by that?
