    I have been feeling that way. The libido has gone down. I noticed I was getting tired in the day(just waiting for everybody to be out of the office so I could prop my feet up and take a quick nap). Also noticed my energy was down...might be the reason I am not wanting to hit the gym. I didn't tell him that I felt that way just because I knew the sides of low estrogen.

    imo, from what i've seen your going to need to tweak more than your e2/AI to get you going bro....i'm feeling bad for you if you gotta take a nap at work....

    I have been eating better, but the gym starts next week. What else do you think I need to tweak?

    I average sleeping about 6 1/2 hours a night on weekdays and about 10 hours on the weekends. I know I need to sleep more, but damn they put all the good shows on late at night. LOL!!!

    those hours seem adequate if GOOD SLEEP....but your finding yourself craving sleep all the time...i just couldnt imagine tweaking your estrogen is going to fix that ...i hope i'm wrong....

    Here are the results from August 4, 2011 blood work. Comparison blood work was from June 23, 2011. I started TRT on April 9, 2011. Looks like the biggest changes are my Total Testosterone , Estradiol, and CBC numbers. Also my Lipid panel changes quite a bit, but I had stated that my diet was not very good for the past few weeks so that is probably the reason for that.

    Here was the protocol for this 6 weeks duration

    Test Cyp. 1.25cc EW I do shots on Thursday
    Anastrazole 1mg Monday, Wednesday, Friday

    Okay so guys give me some pointers on this one. Doctor wants me to drop back to just 1cc because he said my test levels were too high. Also gdevine, I don't think he did the exact test like I told him to that we had talked about.

    Any help guys would be appreciated.

    I forgot to remove it. I just copied my previous post and changed the numbers. Isn't the estrogen a little too low?

    What do you think about the doctor suggesting I drop back to 1cc? What about changing my AI dosage? Could the low estrogen be low because I took a 1mg pill Wednesday night and had blood work done at 10:00 AM Thursday? I don't want to change much up, I just think I need to raise my estrogen up a few points I think? Diet is back on this week. Had our final Lake/Summer blowout this last Saturday. Definately going to watch the beer consumption. I noticed myself taking things too far on the weekends and its causing problems with me and the wife. Hate waking up with her mad at me for being an idiot the night before. Headed to the gym this afternoon.

    I don't see Free T or Bio Available??? These are the critical assays that you need. Total T at this point is much less an indicator. Lowering you weekly test dosage just looking at Total T is not a correct evaluation. You need Bio Available!!! Get it on your own if you have to.

    Estradiol 17 HIGH Range 13-54 pg.mL WAS AT 64 LAST TIME
    E2 is too low. Ideal is 20 to 30. I think you're taking too much of the AI for your test amount. That's why this is low. You presenting any low E2 symptoms?
    PSA, TOTAL 1.0 Range < OR = 4.0 ng/mL WAS AT 0.7 LAST TIME
    Slight increase in PSA on TRT is normail. You don't want to go over 1!

    You may want to let the E2 creep up a little, given your HDL and LDL readings. A little higher E2 may help. But don't expect much help since you can't let it creep up much.

    It also states on here that "Total Testosterone was measured by LCMSMS. The LCMSMS method correlates well with our extraction/RIA method."

    What is Albumin?
    What is ASt/ALT? I do drink, just not during the week.
    What about LH and FSH? I think you told me I needed these results in your PM.

    Can you give me any suggestions after you see Free Test, Bioavalable and SHBG. Do you think I should lower dosage? Maybe do .5mg EOD of the AI instead of 1 mg 3 times a week. Should I go ahead and introduce the HCG ?

    Refers generally to any protein that is water soluble in the blood. It loosely binds to Test.

    What is ASt/ALT? I do drink, just not during the week.
    Liver enzymes, generally high with drinkers and a pathway for E2 metabolism.

    What about LH and FSH? I think you told me I needed these results in your PM.
    You're in HPTA shutdown so these are no good that's why they are so low.

    I calculated your percent free and precent bio available:

    This is you:
    Free T: 2.52% (This is ideal! Best when between 2% and 3%)
    Bio Available: 69.7% (Jealous, I am 64.8%)

    I wouldn't change a thing NSM. While your E2 can inch up a bit you are in the ideal ranges across the board.

    You need HCG for a ton of resasons! Your testes produce the foundation of all your other androgen harmones like Pregnenolone converting to DHEA and on and on...without it you're losing ground. Do some reading on the subject.

    Libido tanking? Yea, you're assay has you at 17 so no wonder. Better at low to mid twenties for most men.

    Cut back a bit on your AI and see how you feel.

    You're getting real close to being dialed in; work with your Doc and how you feel but man you are real close!!!

    There are three things every HRT protocol should have from day one: Test (flavor of your choice), HCG , and AI. There is a valid arguement for not starting the AI on day one, but HCG is a different story. HCG is like coke . . . things go better with HCG (thank god this is an HRT forum and most people are old enough to remember that coke slogan).

    When you cut back on the AI, do it little by little. And I mean LITTLE. Don't screw up your good work and progress. So if you are taking 1 mg /week (split out somehow), try 0.95 for a week or two. Maybe try 0.90 after that if things are still good. But don't lower the amount by much. 17 is really a good number. You only want to consider having that a little bit higher for your lipid numbers.

    Thanks everybody for the help. I am going to stick with my 1.25cc dosage of the test EW even though the doctor want me to lower it back to just 1cc. I am also going to lower my AI dose a little bit. Don't know how I am going to cut into .95 or .90 mgs, but I will figure out a way. From what I have read I need to be somewhere between 20-30, correct? I will also introduce the HCG into my protocol. Right now I have the sublingual, but when I go back I will ask him about the shots. Not that I am wanting to pin myself more than I have to, if that is the best way then I will work with that. Can anybody give me a ballpark estimate of cost of the HCG you inject. PM if you can't post it on open forum.

    Thanks guys for all the help, hopefully I will get to that ultimate sweet spot soon. What changes, if any, will I notice when I get dialed in correctly?

    Ah, tablets. I use liquid so it's easy to adjust by small amounts. Given you use tables, just stick with what you do currently. Cut out sugar and processed carbs to lower cholesterol.     JP is right.

    Remember, it is always nice to be in the "optimum range", but dont think for a second you will be able to tell any difference between 17 and 25. And, all of our optimum ranges are different, and all of our levels on everything vary naturally daily and hourly. So, my point is make a VERY small adjustment to your a.i. or your t dose and then don't stress about hitting that magic number too much. You will drive your self crazy.

    I am definately not going to change much as I am so close. I was also wondering, in my workouts should I be lifting heavy or doing lighter weight with more reps? I want to lose weight, but I don't really want to lose my strength and size. I am planning a blast in January so should I just try and do light weights until then and then start heavy once I blast? Also, should I go ahead and cut my carbs down also?

    Getting stronger and bigger means less fat if you maintain the same weight, which is usually the case. So don't try to lose weight by lifting. You want muscle. Doing more reps (12-15) will not really make you burn more calories. Do more reps if your body can't handle working out heavy. Mine can't! So I do 12-15 reps per set, but still work to failure.

    Adding in cardio on top of weights is the way to go for losing weight. And diet diet diet. Cut out sugar and processed carbs to lower weight. I don't know if beer is a processed carb or not, but donughts are so don't pull a Homer. This will benefit your cholesterol levels too.

    I typically lift heavy weights for 10-12 reps. Usually two bodyparts a day. I try and hit each bodypart twice a week. I also do cardio after weights. I only rest about 45 seconds between sets. The diet is getting back on the right track. I do need to cut out some of my carbs. Not necessarily simple carbs, just any kind of carb. I seem to do better on low carb. But I don't get enough calories for even my maintence calories if I do that. Thus slowing my metabolism down. But I remember when I first started working out two years ago I got a trainer and I used him for a while. From March until the first of August I lost 50lbs. Now he is not training anymore and I can't remember what we used to do, but it was definately not your "typical" lifting. I am definately a BIG guy. 6' 260lbs, but I am not all sloppy fat. I am strong i just have all my muscle covered up by a little bit of fat. And I only carry my fat in my stomach, back and love handles.

    i think we had you guessed at 20% or something like that when u posted pics? whats the blast plan?...u have another thread talking about tendonitis so your going to have to play this moreso on how your body handles/reacts to lifting heavy or types of moves.....imo...keep up that 10-15 rep range and keep the rest periods where u have it and try for 30 seconds and/or mix in a few supersets of going even a little lighter with no rest and cardio cardio cardio

    I do not have a plan on the blast as of yet. I am still researching that and seeing what other guys have done as far as a blast. My main goal is to lose as much weight as possible until then. That way I can get the best results possible. I know I need to step up the cardio some more. I have started joining my football team I coach in their conditioning drills so I am getting a little extra now. I am definately going to keep my current rep range and rest periods for now.

    Slow day at the office today so I have been doing some research. Looks to me everybody suggest just test as your first cycle. I have seen some Deca mentioned in first cycles. I read about Deca, and the sides kind of scare me a little bit. I have been really prone to breaking out on my back since TRT. Plus being here in Texas and 40 plus days of 100 degree heat I have notices I am getting heat bumps. I guess from sweating so much. That is one of the things I really noticed about the test. I sweat like a whore in church on this stuff. If my back would go back to the way it was before TRT I would be so happy.

    Anybody got any suggestions for a first time blaster? I figure I will also have to up my dose of AI while on a blast.

    no problem...i replied to your pm as well...but i will clear it up...i dont believe first time cycle recommendation applies to you about test only as you will have been on test for some time before you decide to run your blast...and also think you would respond better by adding another compound instead of just bumping up the test....come to think of it, doing a low dose of test/deca even now wouldnt prevent you from losing weight my broski...i lost weight and gained strength when i ran my lil blast of the two early on in my trt....

    Thanks for the clarification. Did you have any bad sides with the Deca ? I break out pretty bad with just the test even though I am on 100mg of Minocyclin ED. And I wash with Dawn soap everyday to help keep things dry. I thought I had it pretty cleared up but here in the last few weeks the bacne has really flared up.

    honestly not a one...and like jd stated...my rotator cuff achyness also subsided...if i had a few hundo's i'd get myself an early Christmas present and we could go duals on the deca

    Just got a call from the doctor and they want to see me back in two weeks to see if my test levels went down. I did not drop my dosage to the 1cc like he suggested. Should I drop it so the levels go down or just keep with where I am at? The only difference in the last two blood test is the amount of AI I was taking. When total test was 785 I was taking 1/2mg EOD. The last test when my total test was 1077 I was taking 1mg Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I have also started taking HCG (under the tongue) this week. I am taking 2ml Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

    Any ideas on what I should do? Surely he would not take me off of TRT if my total test is too high, would he? I don't want him to think I am doing something else and take me off.

    My thoughts: If you don't drop your test to 1cc and your test is still in the 1000 range than he might tell you that you need even a smaller dosage. Then your prescription will be less than what you actually need. I think in the end your relationship with your doctor will become tarnished and you will eventually need to get a new doc.

    I don't see anything here.

    When was the last time you injected in relationship to your blood draw for both tests? Could you have been peaking on the first one and not the other?

    Also, labs could have been a little screwed up...not out of the question.
