Blood Result Question

I started on injections at 60mg e3d at the begining of De***ber. I had my blood drawn at the end of January two days after an injection. My test levels came back 1199 (250-1100) FT 297 (35-155) and Estradiol 74 (<or = 39 pg/ml). Main issue I had at this level is weak erections which I figure is the high estradiol. My doc just reduced my injections to 40mg e3d and to re-test in two months. Will reducing the test dose have a positive impact in lowering my estradiol? Thanks

I take it your doctor doesn't understand aromatization inhibitors?

You might be better off with 40mg or 50mg every 3.5 days, JMO. Either way, I do agree with reducing it and getting your levels down. Do you have other labs?

No, I don't have other blood work he only did those three tests. He did not seem to be to hyped up to go with an AI at my current level. I believe he wants to see we're this new protocol puts me. Not to sound stupid but when you say every 3.5 days when do you give the shot time wise? I have been doing it every morning of the third day. Thanks again for the replies.

3.5 days would be done Sunday morning and then Wednesday evening.

3 times a week is a litle over the top (IMO). E2 @ 74 ( on the ref range u give) seems awfully high to me, reducing the T may lower ethe number but probably not into desireable range. Any other sides, nipples sensitive, bitch tits?? Personally would lokk into obtaining A.I asap.

The good news, lowering the dosage and spreading it out to 2x per week (3.5 daysx2) will probably give you a total serum and free score that will be sustainable for the long haul. The bad news, you're still going to see estrogen conversion. Maybe the lower dosage won't be escalating your E2 like before, but I don't foresee it decreasing on you, nor would I leave it to chance that it will. At best, you will probably continue to see the weak erections, and probably other sides like bloating as well. AI's are needed ... Nuff said.

i agree! since it peeks on third day whats the point of injecting more test while still peeking from the last shot! twice a week seems to be optimal IMO.
