Doc's dose not wrking, but won't increase dose.....Please help goin'it alone

Hey crew,
I'm lost in uncharted territory and need help please, I'm a little sketched out.

Here's the deal. My nuts dont work. Well I have REALLY low T. (295 nl/dl- I could be a woman, almost.) I'm not quite 40. My doc put me on weekly home injections of Test C @ 100mg/ wk. Signs of the low T for me are NEVER any of those random erections, adequate at best erection during relations, constant fatigue and no motivation blah blah.

So like I say doc put me on 100mg of test C many months ago. Results: notta, nuthin except I don't have insurance and it seems I'm blowing money @ the store that is doing nothing.

So I started studying up on test use for those that need it "legitimaly" on the net. then I found the info for body building at extremely
higher doses. After educating myself and much contemplation I started SLOWLY increasing my dosage per week. I added 25mg/wk to the doctor prescribed 100mg week. After a month @ 125mg/wk= NOTHING.

More info on me physiologically: my body PROCESSES STUFF FAST.

I *could* (not would) drink a 6 pack of beer and still be fit to drive a school bus load of kids. I can drink way more alchohol- twice as much at least- than most and still only get a buzz and them be stupid, non functioning drunk.

MY dentist always bitches about how many times he has to stop and reshoot me with anesthetics to renumb me because my body processed the numbing drug away so fast. Dentist says it really unusual. etc. etc. on the body processing bit.

I don't have a clue if thats has anything to do with why the 125mg/wk test did nothing but it's the only working theory I got.

So with that info on me- back to increased dosage:
I slowly have worked up to 550mg/wk of test C. At this dose I'm just starting to see and feel a little glimpse of my body responding to it.

I have lost, I think a teeny bit of abdominal fat. I'm thinking it looks like I have a teeny bit bigger muscles- this is just observation in the mirror. It's minimal. But - whoo-rah I get maybe 2-3 random erections a month now or a semi when I see a hot babe. Good news in deed.

No bad side effects at all. No acne- etc etc. (well I have not done blood work to see about my liver or cholest.)

So now you have all the details, sorry for a long post but where else can I go for good solid safe info on this level of dose??

1. should I crawl my dose up any more?

2. is long term 550mg/wk of T c safe.

3. If I'm doing this much test for med needs should I be doing a stack: while I'm at it to throw in some leaning out or bulking steroid/test since I'm HAVING to do it anyway?

Sorry to hear of your struggle. You need to find the underlying reason your not responding to the normal amounts of Test as what your doing is really not good long term. You very well may be a hyper-metabolizer. Do you have BW that you can post with ranges? Include E2, TSH and SHBH. Even DHT is you have it.

I could be wrong but I'm getting the impression your basing your dosing on erectile difficulties. If so, that won't work for you. Some people on T supplementation can still need assistance. Erections are complex and go far beyond just T levels. I'd suggest starting with low dose Cialis for daily use. Most insurances cover it (mine does for two a day) and it has many other benefits than just improved libido. It's a nitric oxide booster and helps with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. See this:

Right now it's really important to see complete BW with ranges so post up if you can. Without it we're just throwing darts.....

Check the Finding a TRT Physician sticky and also take a look at www.lef.org and find their male hormone panel. I think they have a sale going on now for a decent price.

You can't sustain 550mg/wk of Testosterone IM...

I want to see your complete blood work complete with a male hormonal panel.

I especially want to see your Estradiol (E2) assay...are you taking anything to control aromatization?

I am willing to bet your E2 is through the roof!

When was the last time you had BW done under this dosage amount?

find another doc, my medical doctor is going to lose is license because he put me on TRT while no blood testing was done, he made a huge mistake. Don't stick around when you find a moron doctor that knows crap, things are not going to get any better with time.

Wannabe make sure it's a sensitive assay for your E2. If you use labcorp I can give you their code numbers so they don't enter it wrong (which happens frequently)

I am somewhat similar, but whereas others will be top of the range with 100 mg, it takes 200 mg to be top of the range for me. Never bothered with pain killers etc cause they don't work.

But like people said the key is blood work. E2 and making sure everything is dialed in. Even at 200 mg I don't feel fully better, and my e2 was slightly high at 42, so i'm shooting for 160-200 a week, and see how I feel. Libido still isn't as good as it was 10 years ago even with stuff in high end range. So we are looking more into my thyroid issues and hashimoto's diseas causes and what ways we can improve there to fix not quite feeling right yet.

You really should have a full thyroid panel as well.

And like people said 515 is basically a beginner cycle to you. The bodyfat and things takes years to fix really, it won't just fall off. As far as data we have available that is something that takes a year to really see the major benefits from trt. And skyrocketing your test and possibly Estradiol might have a bad impact on that process. Yes more test is good (for bodybuilding), but for too long can cause problems, but E2 and some other things being out of wack can have huge negative effects. You gotta remember too, a lot of bodybuilders are keeping test at a 200-300 mg a week range, but using other substances like growth hormone, peptides, and other androgenic/anabolic compounds.

But imo you need to get yourself fixed and figured out before you dabble in drugs trying to achieve this perfect physique.

Find a new Endo doc, is what I rec.

550mg test EW is probably not safe. not only that, but if it legitimately took that much testosterone to get you in normal range then you have some other issues totally unrelated to simply low T.

you need a real expert in male HRT... I would urge you to find one and not self medicate. not only that, but from taking that much testosterone I can only imagine you had to buy it from some other place than a legitimate pharmacy... so maybe you're not even injecting what you think you are. just a thought. but find a good doc asap.

Sounds like the symptoms you are trying to fix may not be caused by low Test. 550mg/wk is bodybuilding cycle doses.
