    Concerning new blood work

My dhea sulfate has always been low so Ive been taking 200 mg of ast's brand dhea and it skyrocketed to 764 ug/dl which is twice the upper limit. also my psa went from 1.4(range 0.0-4.0) like clock work every time to 3.6. I'm wondering if there is any correlation between the 2? I realize it's still below 4.0 but quite a jump in 4 months especially since it's always 1.4.

Also my alkaline phosphatase went from 97 to 116 to 148 iu/l(range 39-117)in the last 8 months and I'm taking 3.5 iu hgh per day curious if there is a correlation there to

DHEA-s readings are only important when compared to DHEA readings in males.

Just as Total T readings are insignificant without Free T readings

Shoot just realized i ordered the wrong dhea test. The first one was serum and was 119 (range 31-701) the 2nd was sulfate 765(range 72-375). Well poop that didn't really tell me anything then.

Well does my psa numbers or alkaline phosphatase numbers look concerning? My AST and ALT liver numbers are fine.

I wouldn't loose any sleep over it but the PSA is a bit concerning..... I'm a tad over 3 myself, age 49, velocity ( how fast it goes up) is very important and yours is significant.
That being said there are so many things that move that number. I really wouldn't sweat it one bit but I would most definitely go get re-tested in 90 days. If by chance it goes up further I would most definitely take it seriously.

Thanks kel so yes dhea can or can't? Also Ive been battling a pretty bad case of hemoroids and Ive heard it can affect psa. Since the elevated psa popped up out of nowhere I'm wondering

I understand it as no, unless PC cells are affected. Hemorrhoids equal localized inflammation and can increase psa like an infection could.

^^^ This. I would probably get worked up if it stays elevated too, because of the rapid rise.
