found a GP who is pro TRT - how do I prepare

I may have found a GP who is pro TRT - how do I prepare?

I will need to get my levels back to normal (or lower), which was 268.

Do I simply stop doing my diy trt and wait?
How long does it take for my diy trt to wear off?

    Thanks

Yes, drop your DIY TRT. I would go online and at least order a serum T and free T test from some place like privatemdlabs dot com and verify your levels are low before scheduling your Dr. appointment. No use going in with skewed levels that are in range from your DIY TRT.
Hopefully you will have a good GP who will determine the cause of your hypogonadism before starting you on replacement therapy.

Edit: I forgot that you are from the UK, correct? If so, then the online labs may not be an option.

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Sounds logical. I've also considered being totally honest. If she puts my friend on trt, who has higher levels than me, she might understand when I tell her my tale of woe. Explain why I went DIY. I have print outs of my previous test to show her too of course, so she will know where I started.

She will have records of all my treatments for depression etc. When I tell her the depression is gone and my elections are back, she should go with it. In theory.

    1) play lotto using his telephone numbers box, wheeled and straight.
    2) and cut of his unicorn horn and save it for emergencies.

A diamond in the ruff, needles in a haystack.

    Lucky you..

you should probably put this to your gp,
maybe she will just adjust your protocol, she will know you
have altered your hpta, just wont know if it was messed up to begin with.
or could have possibly found out the real reason it was low to begin with
