    TRT and PCT

When it comes to TRT I understand majority never stop and do it for as long as they can, how about cycling off of TRT?

Basically I did ask somewhere else and they think I am making excuses to stay on moderate dose of TRT long term and making excuses to not cycle off completely, not b/c. Any reason why this doesn't make sense?
I'm 29, also have low t so my natural production wasn't working anyway. Would a PCT make sense to keep everything in line and get blood work after 2-3 months off TRT?

If you have low testosterone then you will have low testosterone when you come off.
    So why come off?

TRT is to help people with low T get their testosterone levels in normal range.
    So TRT is for life.

If you are legitimatelly on TRT then there's no reason to come off. Only reason would be if you thought your were misdiagnosed, meaning there was another problem causing the low T that was fixable and was not treated at the time.

If you went to a doctor, got tested and got TRT, you are a lifer. There is no stopping.

I'm only 31 and been TRT going on 4 years, wasn't easy to accept at a young age but multiple blood tests don't lie.

Make the most of it, train and eat hard and BLAST OFF!!!!

On TRT from doc and just starting to wonder if taking time off is worth it. Maybe will try cruising on a lower dose one day...

If you TRT is an appropriate amount and you're dialed in there's no reason to take off. When your body was producing test endogenously would you have liked it if it stopped here and there for no apparent reason?

-I spoke with a fertility doc before TRT. He said that I could come off, take hcg for a while and make babies.
That's a good reason to come off TRT.
    -However, this presents a dilema:
Every cycle is followed by PCT. Blasts are not.
How to blast and preserve fertility for those on TRT?

HCG . Proven by medical studies. Myself and YG55 have posted one study many times that breaks it down to percentages. Can post it again if you like.

Found it quickly so here it is. Skip to the HCG section:

    Thanks Kel,
The article addresses preserving fertility on TRT but, doing a blast is an added complexity. It's unlikely there is any studies for that so, this study is likely to be the closest scenario?

Ok, I've had more time to digest the info and the basic message is: HCG preserves fertility. I guess my worry is giving me tunnel vision.

And to preserve fertility on TRT, if pregnancy is desired in a time exceeding 1 yr:
"Those patients desiring to establish a pregnancy after more than 12 months should cycle off testosterone every 6 months with a 4 week cycle of 3000 IU hCG every other day." (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4378070/, Apr 2015)

    Thanks Kel
