    Bacteriostatic Water

Does all bacteriostatic water contain sodium chloride? Just picked up a 30ml at the local pharm. and just wanted to be sure before I mix it in with my GH.

    No...it won't be a big deal though. I assume it's 0.9% saline, so don't worry about it.

yes, o.9%, the pharmasist said that this would do nothing to extend the life of the Gh, only keep it bacteria free with the ba. I have the 10iu jin and I only want to do 2iu a day,so I need it to last atleast 5 days. The paper inside of kit says it's powder for injec. prepared with solvent, without preservative. Then later on it says reconstituted jin. with preservative may be stored cold at +2-+8 for 2 weeks. Does bacteriostatic sodium chloride preserve it, or do I need something else? How long would GH keep if mixed with solvent that comes with the kit?

There really isn't a big difference betwen sterile water and BA for our purposes, as a vial is used up w/in a week anyway. BA at 0.9% is considered a preservative. I use BW just because I have tons of it, and I reconstitute in 2mL instead of 1mL
