In America, regular human insulin is available without a prescription by the name of Humulin R by Eli Lilly and Company. It costs about $20 for a 10 ml vial with a strength of 100 IU per ml.

you can get it at any pharmacy. I got it from Sams club for about $17.00
You are better off getting humalog it is much quicker acting but that needs a script in the us, so you have to be more creative.
