Will the pharmacy ask why I need humalin?

Well humalog is prescription only, but humalin-r is OTC. Im wondering if they can refuse it even if its OTC, even though its just insulin.

I dont know about the US but here in Canada as far as I know Humalog is not prescription... a friend picked me up some at some drug store (Unless he has a script?)

they wont sell you humalog without a script. for the humalin, just walk upto the counter and ask for it. i'd get the pins while you're at it. as long as you look normal and are not in a deep sweat, they'll give it to you.

I find that sweating helps and sometimes I throw in a fake twitch or two. I tell them to hurry and sell me the sh*t or I am going to collapse and die in their store.

most likely they won't even ask, it's not illegal, so many people out there are diabetic that they sell it all the time.

Most places you cannot get the pin w/o Rx except maybe a quanity of 10. When you ask for it just say it with conviction ,they cannot ask questions but I am sure some may. Go to a pharmacy that has young employers.

They normally will not ask, but if they do go to a different pharmacy...it is that simple. I have asked several different pharmacists fo r humalog and they all have refused, but the humulin is never a problem.
