    Muscle Research IGF-1 is short....

    Hey bro, I started my IGF-1 that I got from you last Saturday. It has only been 9 days and it looks like I only have 80mcg's left in the vial. I have been drawing out 50MCGs of B12 and then 20 mcg's(2 tick on slin) of IGF-1. I do this twice a day. I have been keeping it in the fridge, but why am I already out? If I do 40 MCG's a day 1ml of IGF-1 should last me 25 days right? Did I do something wrong?

    nope not always..... if its a 1cc then no, if its a .5cc or .33cc then yes...

    It says 50 units slin. I filled the entire slin syringe with B12 and transfered it into a regular syringe and it was 1/2 ml.

    Ok I get, I should use 40mcg.... but how do I figure that out?

    1mg = 1000mcg... assuming there is 1ml of liquid we can say that 1ml = 1000mcg and also = 100units...
    So 2 units = 20 mcg
    The best way to measure this is to use an insulin syringe. You can get away with a 1cc syringe but I prefer to use the .5cc or even the .33cc ones. They measure out each unit, so when you are measuring two units it is much easier on the smaller pin. While the 1cc syringe is fine, it is mesured out by two IU at a time. So one "tick" on the 1cc is 2iu, the .5cc each "tick" is one IU.

    Mr sparkle that is from ur thread much earlier so wouldnt 1 tick equal 10mcgs

    yep seems like you used 40mcg(2 ticks on a 1ml insulin syringe) twice daily times nine days twice what you should have going on your preferred dosing schedule.

    it is right that in theory you should get 25 40mcg shots from 1mg/ml lr3.
    in reality however i usely end up with 19-20 shots.

    i have used lr3 several times9cycles).

    there is wastage in the pin, so you loose a few shots.

    you used 40mcg twice per day times 9 days=18 shots you have some left so say another 2 or 3 40mcg shots=20-21 total shots and as i say i usually get approx 20 shots from 1mg/ml at the 40 mcg dose.

    When you order, just let him know if you want more AA added and how much. If you have him add 1.5ml more for a total of 2.5ml you will have 40mcg at the 10 mark on a 100 mark pin. This amount seems to work for a couple of reasons, first 40mcg is the "standard" dose and second, that amount is still small yet easier to dose than 1ml.

    Hope that helps... That's how I order mine.
