How do you measure 50mcg on a 100 IU insulin pin?
How do you measure 50mcg on a 100 IU insulin pin?
The pin goes up to 100 on a 1CC pin. 50 mcg is the 5 mark on the pin. You are better of getting a 1/2 CC pin and the 5 mark is clearly marked as that pin only goes up to 50
forgot to add for the above measuement to be accurate your IGF needs to be mixed 1000mcg per ml
There are 5 lines then a 10 then 5 more lines then a 20 and soforth. Confused here, does each line represent 20mcg?
yes each tick = 20mcgs, very hard to measure exactly with a 100iu syringe.
Damn, that's a small amount!!
A little bit goes a long way..................Good LuckOriginally Posted by reveremuscle
hey, that is only correct if yours is mixed at 1000mcg per ml. If you bought it from Gene Sci they come in 100 mcg amps.
It is from MR, may have him send an extra ML of AA to dilute it further, that way 50mcg will be the 10 mark, which will be easier to dose.
If you have 1000mcg per ml you have got a butt load of IGF! The Gensci Igtropin when mixed as per instruction will give you 50mcg at halfway on the 1ml slin pin if you are using the dilutent water provided with the kit
no need to dilute it further as the acid stings enough in low concentrations.
Gene Sci is the only one I know of that gives you 10 100mcg amp with the dilutant. All the others I have seen come in 1 bottle of 1000mcg.
Not sure how many people would buy Gene Sci as they are the most expensive out there.
If each tick is equal to 20mcg like lil mikey said then wouldn't the fifth mark on the pin be 100mcg??Originally Posted by cubanojoe

There are 5 ticks then the 10 mark, so 1 tick=20mcg. When I dilute it with an exta ML of AA the 10 mark will be 50mcg. Trying to measure 2.5 ticks is like splitting hairs. Hitting the 10 mark is pretty easy, practiced with some B-12 tonight. Don't want to screw this up.
