I here a lot of people using dextose PWO while they are on IGF-1. How much dextrose should be used and what exactly is the purpose? I know it has something to do with replacing glycogen. What kind of effect does this have on the body?

Dextrose is fast acting carbs.
It's a simple sugar that is metabolized easily. It's used to give a quick insulin spike, thus shuttling nutrients to muscle cells.Dextrose stores itself in muscle cells in the form of glycogen.
The amount of dextrose varies upon the individual ranging from 50g to 100g's.

Thanks for the info pinnacle. What would you recomend for me.....
180lbs using 40mcgs of IGF-1
You can get technical with this if you chose to.Monitor your BG levels after taking in X amount of dextrose. You can dial in the precise amount to use for you personally.Originally Posted by dirtymike
That's not necessary though,I'd experiment with 80g PWO and see how that goes.I doubt you'll put on excess BF with that amount.Plus it's tough to get fat on IGF.The nice shot of dextrose will give you that full feeling while running your IGF cycle.Don't be skimpy on the carbs PWO.
