Scientists from the VA hospital and Standford University found that a long-acting (14 day) growth hormone supplement worked as well as daily injections during a 32-week experiment. Abdominal fat decreased by nearly 10 percent in the long-acting GH group. Fat decreased by more than 25 percent in some subjects.
