I have a sub q injection question on where to shoot
I am taking hgh and posted a while back about injecting into the stomach and concerned about the fat I have there. I started to inject higher up on my stomach to stay away from the fat area.
Someone posted in the steroid forum a link to injection videos. The one video is saying that sub q injections into the stomach need to be made below the waist and to stay about 2 inches away from the belly button. I've been shooting probably 4 or 5 inches above my waist. Is this a problem shooting that far up? I would have thought it would not matter. I am staying in the ab area.

I don't believe shooting GH that far up is a problem at all. As long as you're getting the needle into the fat there should be no porblem.

I am hitting the fat area and attempting to get the end of the needle close to the muscle.

When shooting Sub-Q, the needle should never reach the muscle. When you pinch your skin, pull the skin away from you a bit, then inject.

That is how I do it and I try to get the needle close to the muscle.

subcutaneous injections are "into the fat" and just need to be underneath your skin...it does not have to be between fat and muscle "like most people believe it has to be". Just stick it straight in and shoot, it will absorb fine. No need to get it in that perfect little pocket or anything, makes no difference what-so-ever.
