PWO blood glucose level before slin?
Ok guys I realy want to try some slin with the 6ius of HGH i am taking 5on 2off but I started taking my blood glucose level right after my workout and it is always very low like 70 and one time it was 63 without slin. I am doing lower carbs now preping for a comp but I consume about 75g of carbs an hour before my workout and am doing about 400g of carbs a day. Im 5'10" 210lbs right now about 8%BF. Does everybody here that does slin have a blood glucose of about 80 after they work out? For you guys that do slin what is your blood sugar right after your workouts before you shoot the slin.
Thanks..

80 is considered low, but not that low. 63 on the other hand is pretty low, but I wouldn't let that worry you because as long as you feel fine that's all it matters. Only use the BG monitor as a guideline to know approx how far from hypo you may be. Don't take action by what the monitor says, take action by how your body feels.
If you are consuming 75g of carbohydrates just before your workout then that would explain why your reading is 80 PWO. I don't eat at least 2hrs before I train, and my PWO reading is usually around 65 - 70 (this is when I use insulin ). Perhaps if I ate a bit closer to my training session, my BG would be a bit higher, maybe around the 80 mark like you. So to me, the reading (80) that you are getting PWO makes total sense.
When you use insulin, your BG changes very fast. That's why it's best to measure your BG every 15 minutes while insulin is active. This way you will know excatly when your BG is at its lowest.

ok so you take slin when your BG is 65-70? This is what mine usually is also PWO so I guess im not in some minority. Im going to start very low 2IUs IM and work my way up from there with plenty of Dextros on hand. Thanks gear.
