Avoiding Bruises......Help?
I am using hgh and injecting in the lower abdomin area. Because the needle is short, and the injection is less than 1 inch deep, i have not been aspirtating(sp). I do 2 shots per day, one upon waking and another around lunch time. So far i have done 10 shots.
My problem is i see 3 dime sized bruises on some spots where i injected. I did notice a little blood when i withdrew the needle at these locations but nothing much to speak of.
ANY TIPS on avoiding bruises?
Thnks

The needle may not be going in straight, or you may be pulling it out at a slight angle. Are you pinching the fat between thumb and forefinger and then shooting into the pinch? Find the area lower on the stomach that has the most fat and shoot there. Bruising is simply blood being released under the skin. Just pay real close attention to your technique, you shouldn't be bleeding. Keep us posted.

Why do you do an injection at lunch time? You should avoid carbs as much as possible before an after you HGH injection, say an hour or so, before and after. The AM shot done on an empty stomach is a good choice. There are different views on this, I hold to the avoid carbs before and after your HGH injection. Some people say it doesn't matter. I've found that for me it does seem to make a difference. But with only 10 shots done you have a long way to go yet, so adjust your meals and see what works best for you.

Thanks JB. I do the lunch time shot because that's what i read somewhere (probably here...i think it was on Red Barons intial post to split the dose in 2). I think the logic was the hgh is absorbed (or has an active life of/within 1 hr). So if you hit it again Mid-day...this is best schedule. (again what i read).
This was also confirmed by another source at my Gym...again i am a beginner at this so i don't know from experience.
Why should the Carb dosage be low after injection?

I got a bruise on my 3rd injection of Jin. Don't know why either? I'm sure I did something wrong. I haven't got one since but I'm only on my 8th injection.

I'm going on my 6th month of hgh and I bruised maybe 2 or 3 times total. I've also lightly bled a couple of times. I think that sometimes you just hit a sensitive area.
When I first started taking the shots, I would jab the needle past the skin, now I just push it in slowly without jabbing. For some reason, that seems easier for me. Also where I pinch off some skin, I put the needle in about and inch away from where I am pinching.
I inject in the mid to upper part of the abdomen.

(this hgh cycle might be tougher than i originally planned....sigh)

I drink a cup of tea after my morning injection with no effect. I also bruised a few times when I first started the injections. I will still get a small one every once in a while. Can't really tell what I've done different to bruise and not too.

A bruise is caused by blood. Most likely a blood vessle that the needle went through.
