Doc gave me Somatropin 6mg (Approx. 18 IU), he had me mixed 3cc of BW with Somatropin and said to use 25 IU EOD......

my question is, how many IU of Somatropin (HGH) am I actually injecting.... I thought he said 6 IU, but Im not sure! My next question and Im not sure if I can ask, but I won't give the price until someone say's it ok... is the price Im paying for the Somatropin $*** ok, or is the Doc ripping me off?

You're not paying the doc, you're paying the pharmacy correct? Sounds like a generic US Brand, packaged similar to Serostim.

your Dr. is crazy... you have to be giving bad info. as far as how to take and mix. you need to mix 1.8 cc BW into your 18 IU bottle and I would personally start at 3 iu daily 6 on 1 off if you are a 1st timer.

the 25 on the pin is the needle gauge... the 25 on the syringe is equal to 2.5 IU's if mixed properly (1.8 cc BW into 18 IU bottle).

Sorry, the 25 on the 100 iu syringe…. Mixed at 3cc BW with Somatropin into an 18 iu bottle.

What is that equal to???

WG you're all set, PM sent back.

RJ, he was reconstituting 3cc of BW with each 18iu vial. Therefore 25 on a 1cc slin pin is equal to 1.5iu. I thought the same thing you did, as always we just needed more info.

it all makes sense now... I was definitely confused there for a moment... I have seen others dilute the mixture... not the way I would do it... but hey everybody's different... just as long as it works for ya!
