Thinking about lowering my hgh dosage
I've been on hgh for about 6 months now. I started out at 2.5 iu, 5/7. About 3 months in roughly I upped it to 4 iu, 5/7. I've noticed the past month or so that when I wake up, my arms are numb.
The numbness is starting to concern me a little bit, so I am going to lower the dose to 3 iu, 5/7. I was taking the 4 iu in 2 serparate shots, one afternoon and the second at bedtime. When I go to 3 iu, I think that I am just going to take it in one shot. It is easier for me that way due to finding time around eating. What do you guys think?
Also, if this is what is causing the numbness, how long will it be until I notice the numbness start going away? I'm not 100% sure if this is causing it or not, but I want to try something. I am also on test e and eq. I've been running the test for quite some time now.

Upping HGH for me has had some detremental effects I recently went from 5 iu to 6.5 iu a day and I belive it spiked my BP I saw a doctor about it and it was pretty out of whack so i stoped using it the next day and felt better within 2-3 days. If your problem lasts more than a week I would see a doctor about it. I have since restarted on HGH but with lower dosage which works for me,

I get slight arm numbing here and there when I wake on 3ius ed, 1 shot upon waking. I've been on Jin a little less than 5 weeks now. I'm 37yo.
Now I would go down to 3ius if the numb arms are too much and work back up to 4ius gradually. Maybe bump .50ius eow. Somthing like 2.5ius upon waking then 1iu in the afternoon? 4-5ius is the amount where you start to see great gains from what I've read. I want to be at 4ius in the next few weeks hopefully. You just have to ride the sides out if you can manage because the water and numbness will go away once your body adjusts to the rHGH.
GH is great stuff for us older guys 35+. So many positive effects from it that I can't see not using it for the rest of my life. I just think the usage/cycling schedule has to be perfected because that's still basically up in the air. I believe in the 5/2 schedule once you get your IGF-1 levels up after a few months. Something like 5ius ed on a 5/2 schedule. Then using GH precursors on the 2 off days. At least Arginine and Glutamine.Last edited by Seattle Junk; 06-11-2006 at 04:35 PM.

This week I've was on 3 iu for 5 days and the numbing seems to have gone away. I'm going to run it like this 1 more week just to make sure though.
I have developed high bp by the way. I found this out last week. I went to the doc and did blood test. I'll know what is up next week from the test results. I am on a test/eq cycle, so I am thinking that is spiking my bp. That is what the doc thinks to. I quit the cycle last week when I found out.

Why not take blood pressure meds? or hawthorne berry. both work. I lowered my dose of Saizen and no more numb thumb. I take blood pressure meds. I
have take BP meds for a few years. Found the GH seems to help. I take it on empty stomach and do cardio. Pulse stays low. The Saizen healed the brown recluse spider bite in 10 days. No crater. Very little scaring. Doc can hardly believe it. Every time I get injured or sick it's GH ed until I get well or run out.

I did start taking Hawthorn and Celery Seed extract for the bp. I've been on it for about 1 week now. Not sure how long it takes to be able to see if it is working.
I've been on test for a while now and I need to come off just to give my body a break. My HRT advisor told me to start donating blood twice a year since test raises rbc. He thinks that is my whole problem. I asked him about donating while on and he said that was fine, so I went to donate and they said that my bp was too high. I can't win.

So how do you lower the red blood cell count? Do you have to stop the GH or the test or both? Mine is border line and the Doc wants to check it next month. I plan on turning of the Gh and the Var a week in advance. Maybe even stop the Arimidex ; let the test show up on the estro side. F---in endo.
The Doc's from hell. They don't last long where I go. They last about 2 months.

The place I deal with said to donate blood to lower the rbc. I guess you can give blood while on test and gh of what I heard from my hrt person.
When I get my blood test back hopefully tomorrow, it will show what my rbc is and if it is high.
I was talking to my hrt person for awhile and he told me that I can stay on test year round as long as I use hcg every so often. I finished this cycle and once I recover he said that he wants to put me on cyp instead of enth. He said it is a good idea to switch back and forth. 12 weeks cyp then switch over to enth for 12 weeks. I guess each test binds to different receptors and stuff so it is a good idea to switch. I don't understand it all, but I am going by what he is telling me.

That is good to hear. I just posted the question in another thread. That may be a good idea for me to do that.

I'm about to lower my HGH dosage as well. It's been my first week and I started at 4iu, which was definitely WAY too much. I put on about 5lbs of water and I feel incredibly bloated, and my hands like carpal tunnel. I'll be cutting down to 2iu next week and slowly build up again, giving my body time to adapt.

I have been on 4IU's of jin 5/2 for about 6 months now. My friend any myself were doing the same amounts and we both started to get numb hands and arms after a few months. He dropped back to 3IU's and I just continued. After a about 2 weeks his symptoms went away and mine continued. Last month my tingling feeling completely went away and I am still using 4 IUs daily. Last month my friend went back up to 4 IU's daily and no longer experiences the numbness.
It is a normal side effect and to be honest, I welcomed the feeling because I felt my HGH was real. I just wanted you to have another opinion to make your decision. I would not advise you to do what I did, but its just another story.
Good Luck

I am going to go back up to 4 iu soon and see how it goes. Like you said, the sides is a good sign that the stuff is legit.

Well, the tail end of last week, I upped the dose back up to 4 iu and sure enough after a couple of days the numbness came back. It was real bad this morning. I would not have thought it would have come back that soon, unless it is in my head.

I remember the numbness can be pretty severe, so it probably isnt in your head. But hopefully the numbness will go away soon.
