    Insulin pros, some ?'s

    I've been using slin now for about 2 months. I started off @ 10iu a few times a week after workouts using the suggested 10gram carb rule. At first i hated the lethargic feeling, but i'm getting used to that now. Recently I started to up the dosage, and I tried shooting 2 times in a day the odd time just to see what works best for me. Even with my high calorie/fat diet BF% is still what it normally would be during bulking. I'm now shooting 20iu after workouts(with the same 100grams of carbs) and i feel fine, no hypo. Just wondering if this is worth it? From what I've researched shooting 4-6 times a week can't make you resistant? And with a high calorie diet wouldn't it help me process the cals faster and more efficiently? I just want some input from guys who have run slin at higher dose ranges/or shot mor than once a day.     Why have you run it for 2 months without taking a break?

    My thoughts exactly bigun.

    Another person who has jumped into using slin and ****ed up! By running it for 8 weeks (twice the suggested legnth) you have increased your chances of becoming dependant bro.

    You started at 10iu? Why didn't you work up to it by starting low? Have you not read the slin stickies???

    i run it 4 week's on 4 week's off and thats what the rule of thumb is.


    BUT there is no scientific proof that says running slin for as long as you want with out breaks can make you a type 2 diabetic

    Thank you STOCKY.......BIG T i'd appreciate it if you didn't jump down my throat. I've done my research, and I agree the suggested length is 4 weeks, but many others ffrom what I've read have run it alot longer. Also if everybody stuck to the regurgitated info on this board we would all be running test@500mg and d-bol@30mg for 4 weeks for fear of liver failure. Any other opinions on the pros and cons of slin use OUTSIDE THE BOX would be appreciated, thank you.

    4 week on 4 weeks off is just a rule of thumb. prbably if youe using it 2-3 x day for 4 weeks you should have a break. if only pworkout. i think you could run it alot longer. ill just keeping running my slin till i feel im becoming resistant and take a break. im up to week three and still feel it working.

    More calories is a horrible idea. You see, with insulin , any excess nutriens will be stored as fat. So extra nutrients is def a no no. If you are consuming excess nutrients while on insulin and feel like you're not gaining any fat, well wait a while because it will catch up to you later.

    Insulin is mostly beneficial PWO so that's the only time I would use it. 20IU isn't necessary, 10 - 14IU is fine.

    Also, as for becoming insulin resistant, some believe it's possible, some don't. I would play the game safe and have breaks.

    Ya i guess post workout is what i will stick to, becuase becoming obese is one thing NOT on my list lol. I just find it hard to gain any weight right now no matter how many cals/protien I consume, I hate plateaus!

    I've shot 20 IUs pwo... I really saw no increased benefits over 12 IUs pwo

    Now i stick in the 10-12 IU range.

    i started trying slin in the morning just some fruits and shake .seems to just replenish lost glycogen,keeps me fairly lean as i usually consume a lot for breakfast . for me not to spill over on the pw slin i usually drop out carbs 3 hrs prior to workout as i tll deplete glycogen more so i eat more on the slin and better chance of not spilling over .

    4 on 4 off is the way to go!!!! but should have started on a lower dose i started on 4ius and worked up..but 20 ius is alot of slin bad bad shit
