IM = faster on-set time, gets into bloodstream quiker and exits your system faster.
Sub-Q = slower on-set, gets into your bloodstream slower and sticks around in your system for longer.
Peak time is how long it will be effective for until it starts to come down. Activity time is how long it's in your system for. You're best of going IM, but Sub-Q is good too if you're a beginner as the sides won't hit you as hard and fast. Both methods are good.

mate one more question, I am injecting 40mcg of IGF-lr3 preworkout, then I am injecting 10ius insulin (actrapid) about 10-15 minutes before I finish my workout followed by 100gr dextrose, 70gr wpi protein and 10gr glutamine, both injections are IM then I am having a solid meal of protein and simple carbs about 1 hour from injection, now my question is how many hours do I have to stay awake after that so I can control my levels. if you have never heard of actrapid insulin this should give you an idea.

Thanks again for your help

Yeah I am familiar with Actrapid, it's like Humalin-R. You are better of getting a faster acting insulin such as Humalog though because it exits your system faster, but the Actrapid is good anyway.
Actrapid is in your system for about 8 hours, so I would stay awake for at least 8hrs post injection.
Let me know if you need any further help.
Hope all goes well for you.

Since you guys are talking about diabetes then I wish to ask you something…..my grandfather has diabetes type 2 and he is taking Actrapid; http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3972-s-A...D-INSULIN.aspx for it…..you must have heard about this medicine. My question is: will my grand father depend on this medicine all his life? I mean that his sugar level won’t be normal again. He never had this problem before…..since 2 years he is suffering from this problem. He suffers a lot because of this disease….whenever he gets a wound…..it becomes practically impossible for the wound to be healed. My grandfather was always a sportive type of person and he never liked to stay indoors but with the complicated diseases that he has become morose……he does not wish to live anymore. It all started after my grandmother’s death; it’s been 3 years since she has left us. I don’t know how to help him…..my parents are very depressed.
