FYI ~ explanation on my extreme fatigue upon starting gh
Within a week of beginning gh (Mar 06), I came down with Monoucleosis and was unaware of it. Labs were taken at my Dr's office and no one bothered to read them, I was referred to a nuerologist (August) and he requested a copy of my lab results from my primary Dr. He called me and informed me (August) that I was in the 'convalescent stage of monoucleosis) I thought the gh was the reason for my absolutely unexplainable debilitating fatuige. (and no I did not get it the fun way) If you have Epstein Barr virus then chances are you will develope Mono. FYI Mono is becomming very common for adults now. So BEWARE

What is even more fun than getting Mono is coming down with chicken pox as an adult. I came down with chicken pox when I was 28 yrs old, thought I was going to die it was so bad!

I would think that GH would help you heal faster. It certainly has helped
me with all kinds of stuff, from spide bites to lung infections. Hope things
get better for you quickly.

I am switching between jin and brown top,as far as the sides from the gh (and I have noticed more sides i.e. higher bp on the jin) I have turned the corner in just the last three weeks and began my provigil as it was doing nothing for me during that period and I could not see stressing my liver any more than needed. (Also since I did not know I had Mono, that Mono enlarges your liver and spleen) You are at risk of bursting your spleen so you have to take it easy. I could not tie my shoe laces without being out of breath. I don't see that gh helped there, altho I have seen when I injured myself I healed rather quickly. I sprained my ankle very badly and had to use a crutch for one day, and was walking without it the next. That blew my mind. I have worked up to 4iu split ed 5/2. I also have Fibromyalgia, so when the Mono hit and no one had any answers for me....let's just say I cried alot, and now I have fired my fvcking Doc for dropping the ball and not reading my labs and letting me think that I was doomed to feel like the living dead for the rest of my life for during that time period. I am pretty certain the Fibro entered into the equasion on why it took so long to get better. I also did research and found out that if you don't take it easy when you have Mono you can relapse.

I've erroneously thought I was doomed once myself. Its a total sh!t sandwich. Very happy that you have turned the corner! I bet your outlook on life has changed a bit, I know it did for me. Makes me think these things happen for a reason some times.
Best wishes

Thank you, I just really wanted to get it out there that Mono is becoming common place for older adults now and if you begin to feel like really really really bad ask to be checked for Mono. There is a blood test for that. And no, there is no meds>>ya gotta just lay back and ride it out and don't chance injuring your enternal organs trying to work out/lift/or run.

excessive thirst/loss of sweet tooth
Forgot to mention you will want to drink a lake of water><You will have excessive thirst/loss of appetitite><Funny thing that also was affected by Mono. I have completely lost my obsessive sweet tooth and peanut butter tooth. I can no longer eat either!!
And maybe it did happen for a reason, sweets have been a lifelong battle for me, that is probably the most amazing thing to come out of this experience.
And no, I am not diabetic I have been checked for that. I check my sugar everyday, it ranges around 95 upon waking and around 140 at the end of the day.
