DNP + IGF-1 (sorry for length)

Ok, my first post, how's everyone? Well, I've been lurking in the forums for some time just learning about the pros and cons of the many products available. The Ultimate Research Guide was a great read as well; no I haven't read it in it's entirety, but most of it.

Well the title says it all, that's what I'm planning on doing in the not so distant future. A little background might aide in the discussion:

A little over a year ago I was in a motorcycle accident, I tore up my right shoulder. Ever since then might diet went to hell in a hand basket and so did working out. For about three months I could barely move my right arm.

Prior to the accident I could bench 280lbs, or 95lb dumb bells. I know to most of you that is light weight, but I was attaining it all naturally, I could increase my weight by 5lbs a week without a problem. Now I'm lucky if the pain at 50lb dumb bells doesn't kill me.

My diet has never been stellar, and after reading tons of threads on "your" diet, I know that needs some serious overhauling. What I'm looking for is something to help me get back on track.

The DNP is to help get some fat down, looking at completing a 20 day cycle; yes I have read in numerous threads to start out at 200mg/day for 3/4 days and slowly build up to a tolerable level. It seems "most" are comfortable around 600mg/day. My goal is to be around 500-600mg/day, but i have to see how I react to the product.

I also want to run IGF-1 at the same time to help repair my shoulder. I have read numerous times that IGF and HGH are good for that. I know there are benefits other than that, but that is my main goal out of an IGF cycle. I would hope that after running IGF for the same period of time (20 days) maybe a tad longer would allow me to hit the gym a little harder when I'm off of my DNP cycle; hopefully my shoulder will be healed or in better shape.

The down side is that I have an office job, so I wear a suite to work everyday. The good thing is that I live less than a mile from the office, so I can run home for lunch breaks if I have to "freshen up." I have recently read that Crystal DNP has less side effects, yet I really haven't seen anyone go into any detail on DNP vs Crystal DNP. Yes I know everyone will be different, but it at least gives me an idea of what to expect.

What can I truely expect from IGF? Do you think a longer cycle will be needed? I'm not looking to have a magically potion that will let me sit on the couch eating cheetos and loose the fat that I have accumulated over the past year. I plan to hit the gym, easy workouts, 3x week while on this cycle; mainly to get the desire back up to working out. My main concern is my shoulder, it deters me from going to the gym, even though I can do cardio now; I hate going to the gym and not lifting weights.

Again, the diet I'm working on, so don't flame me there, looking more for criticsm on my choices above. Some of my stats:
    Before accident: 5'11" - 190lbs - 12% BF
    after: 5'11" - 203lbs - 26%BF

Realistically I want my shoulder in better shape to work out and after DNP I want to be around 16%-18% BF; with a good diet I can get back to 12/13% on my own in a few months and then reases if I want to go to the next level and try AAS.

Thanks for reading, next time I'll do my best to keep my posts shorter.

i would just try igf-1 only first as that is also shedding a bunch of bf%. my first concern would be to be able to workout pain free again. then after that you can work on shedding more bf%.

but igf is great for recovery after injurys imo. 50-80mcg for 4-5 weeks is what i used after i torn my pec major.

Yep, I see your point, and thank you for the feedback. based on what I have stated above, could I expect better results in way of my shoulder healing quicker and better on IGF-1 R3 vs regular IGF-1 or vice-versa? I think it was R3 that I have read about a few times, I could be a little wrong there.

Also, I have read that HGH is best used on an EOD cycle to mimic the natural pulses the body produces, yet I've also seen ED mentioned. Which is the preffered method for IGF, given my goals.

    Thanks again for the reply!

It probably would help a little, I guess, if I stated my age - 27.

I'll move this to this GH section. A few there have had experience with DNP and many there use IGF. Moving...

First of all, why DNP? If you truely want to change your body composition, I have one word for you DIET. I don't care if you are using clen, T3, or a ECA stack. All of these compounds have a rebound effect when you discontinue using them. Anyway, if you are not a competitive BB why do you want to feel like shit for 20 days? Make Long term goals not short term goals.

    BigBlack,

Thanks for responding, but if you actually read my post, you'll see that I'm working on the diet. The DNP, which I no longer plan to use, was only to get my system started and to loose some weight. I fully plan to use diet and exercise to obtain my ultimate goals.

Any suggestions on the IGF, for my shoulder?
